I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent services performed on my vehicle. The car was in this autobody shop for an extended period of approximately eight weeks (August 5 to October 5) for repairs related to the turn signal and air conditioning system. Unfortunately, despite this significant time frame, the issues were not resolved. Upon review of the situation, it appears that this shop did not possess the necessary expertise to diagnose or repair the problems in question. Instead of informing me of this limitation, an expensive repair was attempted that ultimately proved unsuccessful. Furthermore, communication throughout this period was lacking; my phone calls were not returned, and there was no clear explanation provided regarding the issues or the steps being taken to resolve them. As a result, I was charged a substantial amount of money for a repair that did not address the underlying problems. Moreover, after retrieving the vehicle, still with unresolved issues, I had to take it to another mechanic. The new shop was able to accurately diagnose and repair the problems, and their findings differed significantly from the previous shop’s assessment. I believe it would have been more professional and transparent to communicate the shop’s inability to handle the repair, allowing me to seek assistance from a more specialized mechanic sooner without the costly "repair".Business response

I would like to obtain a copy of the repair performed by the other shop. I will use it to best evaluate the repair needed to resolve the vehicle issue. I believe we can come to a resolution that will be fair to both parties. Thank you.

I took the car in for a repair that the business diagnosed and after the initial diagnosis there were other repairs that needed to be done due to part failures that occurred during the initial part replacement. After 2 weeks I finally got the car back and now I have other problems that didn't exist prior to taking the car in for repair. After picking the car the electric seats will not work and car has a constant thumping noise coming from the speakers constantly. The repair shop says these were existing when I brought the car in. I have used this repair center in the past with satisfaction but I feel like I was taken advantage of and the center has not offered to help.
