I purchased a brand new body kit for my dodge challenger brand new out of the box i took the car and kit separately to maaco auto body in okc i paid 4k to them to paint my car with base coat and clear coat and also jam it and paint the body kit. i received the car back and it was a terrible job i installed the new body kit and took it back to them to address the issues and they claimed they needed more money so instead of arguing i let it go and paid them. sent my wife after my car and she returned it to me and the brand new front end had major damage from an impact where someone at their facility didn't care about the car and bottomed it out and busted my brand new front end. i was very upset so i had my wife call them and they ignore us and act like its not their problem. i paid 2k for the brand new body kit and that place is fully aware the car wasnt damaged on arrival. i just want what's right i spent a lot of money building this car just for it to be returned to me in worse condition than when i took it to them. i want it repaired or refund me the amount it will cost me to repair it.Initial Complaint

I dropped my car off in good condition on June 24th and picked up July 28th.1 week prior to the pickup I got a call from **** saying they tried to start my car but its not starting then when the tried to drive it was jerking and the decide to find some bootleg mechanic to fix something on my car were telling me that my fuse blown out, then its electrical and then amplifier then back to fuses. I explained to **** that my car never had any issues until I left it with them. July 28th I picked my car up was trying to go to the Lexus dealership in *** but they were booked. I end up driving my car back to ***** looked over my car the next day paint smudged, ceiling inside car stained dirty with black paint, the inside back panel in window lifting, scratched driver rim, still have hail dents in my car, windshield wipers broken, gas cover lid open up each time I locked and unlock car. Then I get stranded at work my car wont start and when I finally get help to try start car but making loud noises and braking power low light comes on this could caused a real bad accident or I could be dead all because they were acting like mechanics. I requested for my car to be taken to the Lexus dealership due to the mechanical issues they were causing. **** kept saying it was the fuse.Then tried calling to get things fixed on my car and nothing. I had my car for almost 4 years never had any issues.**** at Maaco, promise that my car was in good hands, that was all a lie. He made it so many of excuses about what was going on with my car. I didnt trust him or the shop any longer. They had car for over 30 days. I have documentation emails sent to Maaco/**** no response. progressive being involved, have the conversation on recorded line and pics.The work done on my car and damages, Poor workmanship. I lost so much time off work due to this, it caused me emotionally stressed because all I want for my car is to be back to its normal conditions before I dropped it off to Maaco.Initial Complaint

My GMC ************* was taken to maacos on I-240 last year in Nov to f 2022 for a paint job. All fees were paid in full when truck was dropped off. Was told it would be ready by the end of the week and someone from maacos would contact us letting us know when to pick up. It took several calls from myself, brother and son to finally get the truck back right before Christmas. When we received the truck, there was pain on the interior cloth seat and the tail gate handle casing was not painted and the door jam was not painted as well ( we paid extra to have all jams painted same color). We called to let Maaco know the issues and they said to bring it in after Christmas. Truck was taken back the first day after Christmas they were opened 26/27 and was told it would be fixed by the end of the week. We have made several calls and have gotten told the same thing. Its not ready it should be **************. Its in the bay and we will call you when its done, we havent gotten to it because the bay is getting painted. We will call you later today we just need one more spot. It is now Jan 19 2023, that is my sons vehicle to school, practices and concurrent classes. It is needed and it has been 2 months that we have paid for rides, and insurance and gas for other people to give rides and missed hours of work to accommodate for those 2 months. It is very unprofessional and unacceptable.
