We purchased a Jaguar vehicle that contains vehicle defects that the dealer has not resolved. The dealership has tried four times to fix the defect unsuccessfully. To make matters worse, it takes on average two months out to get the car into service. In addition, since this is our only car, we require a car when the dealer keeps ours for service. We have had multiple service appointments to fix the defect that had to be canceled by the dealer because they did not have a 'loaner' car for us to drive. It is now over a year and a half since we purchased the vehicle and the door opening defect has not been resolved. We are so upset with the dealership not resolving this issue and making us wait months to get our car in to be repaired, and since this situation could go on indefinitely, we took the first step to start a claim for Jaguar to repurchase the vehicle because we are victims of the dealership not resolving a defect and forcing this to take more than a year. We know there are lemon laws to protect consumers. We followed the instructions in the vehicle service manual that indicates to work with Jaguar Relationship Center as the next step to resolve this matter. The agent at the Jaguar Relationship Center informed us that the dealer rejected the request to repurchase the vehicle. We are now taking the next step from the service manual to escalate to the BBB Auto Line to resolve this matter. We have tried for a year and a half for the dealership to repair the defect. Enough is enough. This can't keep going on indefinitely.Initial Complaint

The secretary refuses to give out the price of a vehicle repair. I called several times over course of a week becauase I had a flat. The car ws in the shop for over a week. I got a text with a. blank bill so I called. The woman hung up on me. I called 3 service managers; no one answered. I called her back. She said that she would not ask anyone that the "service managers were waiting on my call." She was rude. It did cause me to use select language which I am sorry for, but I need to know how much it will cost to get my car.
