At the beginning of January, we made an appointment and visited Affordable Dentures and Implants on ************* in *************. We discussed all the options for my failing teeth. My wife and I decided to go with implants because of my younger age. They wrote us up a plan of what it would cost to go with implants. We went home and discussed and decided to proceed. We filed with Care Credit for $11,500 which is what **** at Affordable Dentures and Implants said we would need. We were approved and scheduled the surgery. The day of surgery, we were told they pulled the $11,500 from Care Credit but we still owed $2,268. We were SHOCKED that we owed more than she told us to apply for. We reluctantly paid on our credit card so that we could proceed with the surgery. We were told the surgery would last up to 4 hours. It lasted 8 hours over 2 days. The numbing wore off and I had to have a second round of shots on day 1. The software kept rebooting so the dentist couldn't see where to drill. The temporary dentures have never worked and are too long and gag me when in my mouth. For each check up they put them back in and they are floating around by the time I make it to my car. Fast forward to August; 8 months of healing. They schedule and appointment to take out the temporary posts and put the permanent ones in. They say you owe $1,100. How could that be I have already paid $13,768. My wife remembers a $900 professional credit they gave us and they apply it. Now they want $1,350 to install the cushion pieces. How much more money are you going to **** out of us?! The price quoted was $11,500 and that is the amount we applied credit for. In my opinion, this goes against a code of conduct. They didn't tell us you will have to pay $X for the surgery and then $X for each surgery afterwards. We asked, how much to get these implants and we were quoted $11,500. We can't say nevermind now they have pulled all his teeth. We are stuck in an awful situation. HELP!Business response
