System leaks Freon. Leaking from the ******* A/C Compressor...Business response

Dear ************************,
We regret to hear about the issues you've experienced with your HVAC unit, which was installed by ** in 2020. It is always disheartening to learn that our customers encounter difficulties with their systems. We understand your frustration.In this situation, the components that failed was your AC compressor and condenser coil. As with any mechanical equipment, occasional failures can occur, even with reputable manufacturers such as *******. It is worth noting that your unit was three days past its warranty period, but we made every effort to advocate on your behalf. After our diligent efforts, we successfully negotiated with *******, and they agreed to cover the replacement parts under warranty.
We understand that you expressed a desire to have the entire unit replaced rather than individual component repairs. Regrettably, despite our best efforts to negotiate that with ******* on your behalf, they maintained their policy of covering parts but not labor. Additionally, we observed that your system required a refrigerant recharge due to the compressor's refrigerant leakage. It's important to note that refrigerant refills are not covered under warranty as it is considered an consumable componant. Nevertheless, we were willing to offer you a substantial discount to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with this necessary service.Following the presentation of the quotes and options, we made diligent efforts to follow up with you, but unfortunately, we received no response. We genuinely want to assist you in resolving the issues with your HVAC system and are committed to addressing any necessary repairs. However, it is important to note that labor charges will apply for the services provided.
