On September 22, 2022, I signed a purchase order with ****** for a 22kw standby Generac generator. The advertisement clearly states that a 10% shop card and free mobile link are part of the agreement. The back of the purchase order substantiates the shop card claim and the website proves the Mobile Link claim. Generator Supercenter and ****** are refusing to reimburse me for costs. ****** has written confirmation from Generac and me that the install is complete. The statement from Oklahoma Generator proves the install was not completed by Generator Supercenter. ****** (*******************) has agreed to the reimbursement of $155 and shop card $1416, BBB Complaint ID # ********. Due to the fact that Generator Supercenter refused to complete the install, forward my verification of delivery, and adhere to their mission statement, I am requesting your assistance in resolving this matter.According to the ****** website and the Generac Generator website Mobile Link is a free service. On numerous occasions Generator Supercenter refused to install/activate Mobile Link until I signed a maintenance contract for $400 per year. This is called bait and switch and is a fraudulent activity and is illegal. It better explained on the ************************ Website: ************************************************************. Generator Supercenter sent me three invoices stating that I owed more money. So they not only received the disputed amount, they billed me for three times that amount. This is not the behavior of a reputable and honest company. Neither Generator Supercenter nor ****** will answer my emails or calls. Other than the 3 invoices, I have not received any email messages, phone calls, voice mails or written correspondence from Generator Supercenter or ******. It has been several months since the generator mobile link was operational and still I do not have the shop card or its financial equivalent.

We have made multiple attempts to contact ****************** to sign the verification form, but she refuses to sign the paperwork.  We have since contacted ****** to see if they would issue the shop card without her signature.  It's my understanding they have released the shop card.  We have made multiple attempts to contact ************************* without success.  I'm happy to talk to her and resolve any open issues if she would just answer my calls or call us back.  Our number is ************ or ************.

Regarding the Mobile Link.  She did not purchase a monitoring subscription from us.  She is likely thinking of the free wireless that comes with the Generator.  We are happy to help her get this connected if she would answer our calls.

      Thank you,

      ***************************

We decided to purchase a generator through the company that was marketing their product at Costco. The company came out and sold us a generator and had us pay a deposit of $7,541.00 on June 27th 2022. The generator had to be ordered because it was back ordered and they said it would take 45-60 days before we’d even receive the generator prior to any installation. Due to the fact that it was going to take so long, we decided to cancel the order. At this time we haven’t received no service or product from the company. When we called to cancel the order on July, 5th, (We actually called on 07/01 but they were closed) they told us that they would have to keep 10% of the total cost of the job ($13,900) which was $1,390. We did not consent to this since we never even got any service or product. Nor have we ever received any documentation with a contract of any sort. Therefore, they are scamming us out of that money for no service received. Today we received a “refund” check for $4,969.25 which is actually even less then we were told. The company kept back $2,571.00 which we most definitely did not authorize. This is an absolute scam and very unprofessional. We demand to have our full refund back. Therefore an additional check for $2,571.00.

I am sorry the customer had a bad experience with us. We do required a deposit after cancellation due to the fact that we have already begin the process on this job - man hours, sales commission, permit planning, and procuring product. Our salesman was upfront with them it would be 45-60 days when they bought. They cancelled a week or later due to it taking to long. This doesn't make sense as we shared it would take 45-60 days as they stated in their statement. I don't want any hard feelings. We are a small business just trying to do what's right, give our employees a good opportunity for benefits and wages and most importantly, serve our customers when their power goes off. Therefore, I'll issue a full return on deposit even though I don't have to nor do I feel we were scamming them. We were upfront on the days it takes. *************************** - owner
