On July 5 Crabtree auto treated our vehicle for a hose replacement. Our car overheated the day before on our way back to ********** and we had it towed to their shop and left overnight. In the morning we confirmed that they had the vehicle we told them it was wrong with it. They told us they would get back to us. He called again in the afternoon to confirm what was wrong with it before they started the repair work. If you hours later, they had it done and total was $640.86. we went to pick it up because they had confirmed that it was no longer overheating after driving it however, when we were leaving the parking lot it started overheating again, we returned, and they took the car back in after we reported the overheating. A little while later the manager came out and apologized and said that they never drove the vehicle after servicing it even though they told us that they had, and it only had idled in the shop, we requested a refund in two different platforms on their website, and they never replied to us. Their negligence could have caused a serious accident if not worse as we were driving with our two little kids in the backseat.Business response

Sounds like our manager received a call back from you today. You are definitely correct that this was not handled according to our procedure. We require a final test drive and it was not done. It sounds like you and Will came to an agreement for a full refund so I hope your concerns were addressed and handled. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can address this policy and make sure we never do it again. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do.
