On 10/24/22 I received a notice from a collection agency on behalf of Central Oregon Pathology Consultants. I'd been waiting for some sort of invoice from them for a diagnosis they had completed (and now, based on their terrible billing and customer service, I and concerned about the accuracy of their finding). NO bill had ever been sent to me by them. I have tried calling all day and obviously they have taken the phone off the hook. They have repeated offences based on the complaints visible online and here.Business response

My account was paid in full, which took a few months, because they never submitted **** to my insurance, even after I provided my insurance information, twice. I was then threatened with being turned over to collections. I called them and resubmitted insurance info and was told not to worry about threat of collections. I received a much lower **** (since they finally submitted to insurance) and promptly paid it. Now I see that another amount has been submitted to collections . I never received a **** for this other amount. I knew Id probably have another **** from them from my surgery, but when I never received one, I assumed it must have been included in my hospital/surgery ****. I am beyond irate. My credit report is nearly the highest it can be.Business response

My understanding is that our billing company has now figured this out and resubmitted the claim to insurance.
The patient has been removed from collections and has been contacted by the billing company to make her aware of the status.
I apologize for the mix up and have been in communication with the billing company regarding this issue.
