Took my 2nd ************* in for an alignment, as I had work 600 miles away. I asked for the steering wheel to be straightened, and for the tech to check for loose bolts as something felt loose underneath. When I drove the truck home I noticed the wheel was still off centered but now on the opposite side. The truck was also pulling to the left now which it never did. Come to find out I drove the entire 1200 miles with both sides camber bolts completely loose and about to fall out!!! When I called and spoke with the woman who answered, I got nothing but attitude and told the alignment was only guaranteed for two weeks and I could have knocked it off hitting a pothole. This is after I told her it was incorrect and stuff was left loose. Again just total attitude and when talking to the manager, same ********. Im pretty ****** off about this cause if that failed on the interstate while towing an 8000lb load...someone could have died. For a manager to act like an A**** over this is absolutely a douch move. They lost my business forever and I have 8 vehicles, 10 trailers, and a bunch of other stuff that always needs tires, brakes, etc. Les Schwab wont be getting any of my business after this. Ill drive hours further if needed. They dont give a s*** about your safety and Ill be letting everyone in the county know to stay away!!Review from Susan A

I am an elderly woman living alone, and utilized this tire store several years now, having purchased a full set of tires several years ago. I also purchased a spare tire as one was not provided for my *************************************************************************** for air Finally, Asked tire shop to repair front right tire, They said they did. But I continued to lose air.Then I finally had a flat Took out the spare tire they provided for me, which they did not fill with air. Had to call *** because the **** that I also purchased from this store did not provide me with a lug wrench that would fit my wheels. In the meantime, this tire shop suggested that I replace the wheel Perhaps THAT Was the issue because there was a slight dent according to them So that was $400. I returned Two days ago to purchase a tire My experience that morning with this person named **** at the store, was less than pleasant. I have a sense of humor I was just trying to talk to him, but he got irritated with me when I mentioned about the $400 wheel that I had already purchased, but yet that didnt fix the tire either. What exactly did this shop do when they allegedly repaired my tire?!?!? But then As I had mentioned to **** at Les Schwab of Turlock on gear, I need to get to work done So when they were all finished, This shop shoved the spare tire into my trunk in a fashion whereas I could not even remove it Much less add everything from the front of my car that had come out of the trunk. They told me when I purchased the spare tire It will not fit in this area, where a spare tire normally goes. I guess larger ******** is my opinion that les Schwab of Turlock on **** Road .took advantage of me because I am elderly and a woman They were beyond rude I just dont trust them at all. We regret Ms. ****** had a negative experience at ********************************************. We take customer reports seriously and work diligently to immediately address customer concerns.
According to **********************'s records, Ms. ****** brought her 2015 Chevrolet Camaro (vehicle) to the tire center on June 20, 2024 to have a bent wheel replaced. Ms. ****** arrived at 6:00 AM, two hours prior to the store opening. The tire center provided the service when it opened. The tire center technician performing the service noted that her tire was leaking due to a bend in the wheel. The technician replaced the wheel and loaded the bent one in the back of the vehicle. This removed damaged wheel is likely what the customer believes is the full-size spare.
Les Schwab has no record of selling a **** and/or lug wrench to Ms. ******* nor was the fact that she did not have a **** or lug wrench brought up to the store employees.
During Ms. ******** visit, she used very abrasive language toward all of the employees at the store.
Although Les Schwab respectfully disagrees with the allegations in Ms ******* we would like to assure her Les Schwab remains committed to providing the best products and service possible.Review from James H

I took my car to the new Les swabs location in my town for tires and was welcomed quickly helped professionally and even got the store credit to help pay for the tires sweet right NO it has been horrible since then my car has had a bad vibration and it never had that so I took it in and was told that it was my ball joints luckily I didnt trust that and I went to another place and got told engine mounts that can cause heavy vibrations they showed me the compromised part and I fixed them figured I was good to go out of town and boom the vibration was there still I asked a security guard his opinion why it would still do that he came out of work and actually looked at my car in the dark and found out that there were no weights on the tire and again this new location said ball joints again and that they rebalanced the tires again well I get shakes again and look at the same tire and what would you know nothing and the other 3 tires were mixed weights so Im going in again tomorrow and going to try again to have it fixed.Review from Jeff M

I need to share my experience to warn you about the unethical practices of this shop. I was traveling back to Idaho from a fishing trip on the peninsula when I noticed something wrong with my boat trailer just as I was driving into ********. The guys at Les Schwab said I'd need a new axle, and the whole process would take several days, so I had no choice but to go back to ***** and leave my boat and trailer. After a LOT of back-and-forth about the repair over the phone, where I was doing most of the problem-solving, they finally ordered the axle and agreed to have it fixed the following Saturday. I checked with the shop on Friday to be SURE everything was ready to go before making the 550 mile trek again. ****** said it was a go. While I was arriving in ******** and turning north on I-5, the shop called to say the supplier sent the wrong axle. I had to turn around and drive 8 hours back to ******I found out after contacting Les Schwab headquarters, that the shop actually ordered the wrong axle. The shop manager ***** had lied when they blamed the supplier for sending the wrong part. The store had ordered a 79 axle and my trailer is a 89. Instead of just coming clean and admitting they had made a mistake, ***** made up a really stupid completely unbelievable lie. I spent 15 hours of driving and $350 in gas and lodging to pick up my trailer, only to have to turn around and then drive back again the next weekend.They also insisted that they must make a profit even after their mistake and charged me double what the axle cost according to the PAPERWORK I insisted that they give me. The axle cost them $200 and they charged me $399. They still charged me freight after they ordered the wrong ******* add insult to injury, they attached the left wheel fender crooked and 15 gallons of gas was mysteriously missing from my boat fuel tank!Review from AL A

They are horrible. Looking through their responses too are so pathetic. We have had a couple of awful incidents with this Les Schwab. My husband had the oil changed on his truck this year from them. When he got it back he opened the hood to check on the work. Inside was a empty oil can. The lid of the oil filter and it hadn't been replaced. I have pictures I wish I could share.We dared to use them again in replacing my 18year old daughters tires o June 29, 2024. Her tire came off on 1-80 because they were negligent and didn't tighten the lug nuts. Luckily when the car started shaking uncontrollably she pulled over before if fell off. She could have died. They will say they took care of us - and they did tow it, fixed the damage and give me $150 off the tires. I still owe $550 on them. They won't do anything additional. How can I pay them for these tires when they didn't even do their job? They are getting off easy - they should be sued.Please, please don't use them. I've heard so many negative reports on them that outweigh the positive. I want others to be safe and not worried about their loved ones being harmed by a businesses negligence.Review from Sheila D

Originally was charged for brake pads , rotors and calipers. Paid almost ****** for repairs and have been is shop 4 times . My brakes still hang up and sometimes don't stop. They are so loud and grind and give a high pitched noise when breaking! I have wasted hours of time wanting them to be fixed and have been told nothing is wrong , give them time to break in ,...this is not right ! FrustratedLes Schwab Tire Center Response

I had my daughter take hear car in for a flat repair. it was under warranty so they covered the repair. I then got a call that the other 3 needed to be replaced because it was under ******** reequipments. keep in mind the were 70 thousand mile tires with 20 thousand on them.here is what they wrote: We appreciate the chance to answer your question! *** store extended the full warranty value of 100% of the purchase price of the damaged tire. ****** states there cannot be more than 2-3/32nds tread depth difference between any of the tires on the vehicle. It appears the store gave you credit for the 3 other tires that did not have a warranty issue to offset the replacement of the tires. *** first rotation after the tires were installed on 08/13/22 at ******* miles, was on 02/19/24 at ******* miles. *** next rotation I found was under *****'s name on 08/01/24 at ******* miles. *** 15,000-mile gap until the first rotation service is likely where the tires wore the most and created the need to replace all of them in this instance. We would gladly send service reminders about twice a year to help keep rotation service in mind by email, text, or both. If this interests you, please speak to a manager in the store and they can activate the communication on your customer profile. We want to help ensure you get the most from your purchase.from me: Your records may not show that they were rotated 3 times in ****** and in ************* ca. We she goes to school. However using that as excuse is really week. Even if they weren't rotated for 15 thousand miles. *** wear on the tires was even. So knowing they were rotated ever 5 thousand what is your reason now?so the point is they didn't check the others stores but still declined to warranty the tire.i would have added the last response but ran out room to post it here.Review from Jeffrey F

Took my my car there for something associated with the tires, they diagnosed a bad bearing and after repair I was doing ****************************************************************************************** time, at the stop the wheel with tire came off studs that were connected to wheel hub they repaired. The worst of the situation was that they didn't even apologize until i complained on a ****** review. ******************************************** are cowardly, ignorant and not qualified to mount a **** tire. I won't be caught dead anywhere near them. Hey they paid to fix the wheel they ruined. Next time I that shop I spit in there face.Les Schwab Tire Center Response

This incident appears to have happened in 2019. The issue has since been resolved with the customer by replacing necessary components.

Had a slow leak due to a s**** Purchased new tires only 1 option bc of limited stock so added siping. Also bought new rims to be in next day. Arrv'd home to see I was charged for siping but it wasn't done. Appt next day for rim install & asked again for siping to be done. 2 hrs later paid **** & went out to the lot to get my car. INCORRECT rims installed on car. Can't accept my time is viewed as less valuable than theirs ??Les Schwab Tire Center Response

According to *********************** records, ****************** brought her 2005 ******** CTS (vehicle) to the tire center to purchase wheels and tires. She requested the tires to be siped. Unfortunately, the tire center failed to **** her tires but charged her for it. The next day when the wheels arrived, she went back to the tire center to have the wheels installed and again requested the siping, which the tire center technician did. The following day, ****************** noticed the wrong wheels were installed and returned to the tire center to have the factory wheels reinstalled, with the siped tires mounted. Les Schwabs assistant manager refunded what ****************** paid and apologized for the oversights.

I was traveling through ********* with my grandson and my tire got a flat, the staff at ***************** were professional, friendly and the service was fast. The friendly staff patched my tire free of charge and I was back on the road in no time at all!!
