I established care with M-care ********************* in January 2024 and after being treated poorly at previous visits by ****, the last appointment I went to was 4/4/24 I was scheduled for am $800 out of pocket procedure requiring a same day am and pm appt May 13. ********************* called the Fri before 5/10 at 7am to ask that I come in earlier on 5/13 so he could do an ultrasound to confirm he'd do injection safely. ** was previously informed by me that my husband requested time off work to drive me as a safeguard because it involved spine injection. On 5/13 about 815am as we were driving to my appt Tres called my cellphone and rudely said "do not come into the office" they can't do the procedure the assistant isn't available. I began explaining that the ** needs to do the ultrasound first anyway so we will just do that Tres angrily said "We are going to reschedule!" I said "even though I also have a 345pm appointment today?" She stated angrily "No we are rescheduling!" I said "I have to go" and hung up. My husband was shocked & this being the last straw, so I never contacted them again because I wasn't going back to them anymore. On 5/16 I began inquiring for provider for my back condition and the only one fir same procedure is in ******** near ******** OR. Other options are nerve blocker or steroid injection in Medford OR & I'd have to establish care at a separate provider to be referred. So I called PCP off my insurance list &was told not accepting new patients. I had to wait and try again in a few weeks. Then July 9th I received a message from ***** at M-care did I wanted them to send authorization request for Contrave. I said no but I needed auth sent for hydrotherapy at Coastal PT. She scheduled a tele apot for July 24 10am. Then I received a letter 7/19 from ********************* stating they will not provide care and cancel my appt. Message left wEmily for ** to call me with explanation was never returned. 7/24 ******* at ********** insurance called M-care Tres hung up on her.
