Hata Electric came out for a bid on new baseboard heating and installing a new stove plug in at my house in ******* ******. After coming out for the bid the electrician verified that my baseboards were actually working and no work was needed to be done. He then took pictures for a quote on the new stove outlet that I needed. They then emailed me a quote for the new outlet and we agreed on the price and asked the company to notify us with an ETA when they will be at the property to install this outlet.A week later Hata Electric informed us that the work was done. They entered our property without notice and installed this outlet in a location that was agreed on because it was "easy" for them. They made holes in the wall that were not necessary and didn't use professional material in cover them up. We now have to pay another company to cover and repair the holes that were made. We were sent two different bills 1. For the quoted outlet install that we agreed on and 2. For coming onsite to "verify" that our baseboards were working. It's almost as if they were wanting money to even go onsite for a free bid. Invoice#: **** Invoice#: ****Business response

This complaint is not acurate, on Jan. 31st we received a phone call from ************************* asking for a quote to add an electric range circuit. Also was asked to troubleshoot a baseboard heater not working. During that trip we replaced a bad breaker and verified that the heater was working. While there our service guy took pictures and notes of where they wanted the range so that I could get them a quote to add the circuit. On Feb. 1st we received an email to proceed with the quote. On Feb. 2nd our service guy called to see if he could get in to do the work. There was no answer so he stopped by the property to see if someone was home. There was another subcontractor working. At that time we assumed it would be ok to complete the work since there was already other construction workers there and the location of the range had been verified. In order to get the wire into the panel a small hand hole had to be cut into the sheetrock. When our service guy mentioned that he needed to get a blank cover to cover the hole that he made, there was a sheetrock guy there that said he would patch the hole. At that point we were done and left. ************************* called March 1st unhappy with her ****, the location of the range, and that we proceeded with the work without her there. While on the phone with Terra, I offered to take 33% off the service call, take $100 off to patch the hole, and to move the range to where ever they want. At this point we have not received a response.
