***********************, owner of Professionals Landscape of Portland, sent a rotating cast of landscaping staff from spring until December 2021. They came inconsistently, especially in the summer, missing many contracted hours. ***** told me AFTER my automated payment was sent out that he was crediting me for October since his crew had failed to show up to work repeatedly during the summer months. ************ then failed to do the work I requested, repeatedly. Saying they would show up 11/11, but no one came and ***** failed to communicate. Crew finally showed up, unannounced, on an unexpected day. When we reacted with surprise and the unexpected men in our yard, no uniform or landscaping equipment in hand, talking on the phone, they said I was "unreasonable" and left without doing the work. I told ***** we would no longer continue working with them and asked for the money that was sent BEFORE he bothered to tell me I wasn't being charged. He's ignored me for most of a month.A gate to our property was left open by crews, a half dozen times in total. We own a dog and the gate is on a nearly blind corner of our property, it's very unsafe for it to be left hanging wide open.On multiple occasions ***** attempted to reduced the scope of the work contracted or have me pay more money. His crew and he repeatedly refused to do the work I directed them to, always offering "next time" excuses, then failing to show up on the expected day.***** installed a sprinkler controller and left it unsafe, open to the weather; I spent over $450 in electrical repairs resulting from his improper, unsafe, unprofessional installation of a sprinkler controller.
