      *************************** (West Coast Innovations - ***************************************************, also in *************) was hired to do a kitchen cabinet remodel by our general contractor around Aug. 2021. The cabinets were delayed and delayed, then some were measured wrong and replaced several times. They were all finished, then they were not ready, he would have them brought out right away, then they were not ready again.We got the range hood in after a long delay and found it was measured incorrectly as well and had to be taken back to the shop. Several drawers suffered the same fate. We were promised over and over that the job would be completed - Sept. 2021, Oct. 2021, Nov. 2021, Dec ********************************************************************* the day and were not able to complete it.I don't recall a single call or text originated by *****. Almost every communication had to be originated by us and only occurred after repeated attempts to contact him, with no responses of any kind. There is no reason for a job like this to *********** months to complete. The general contractor has attempted to have ***** complete the work he paid him for without any luck. We are forced to take this action ourselves in order to get this work completed so we can move ahead with plans to sell the house - not to mention living with a half-finished kitchen for over 6 months. The contract was verbal and the contractor apparently paid ***** the entire amount up front so we don't have any other leverage to compel ***** to complete the work he agreed to do. The bottom line is we must have this job completed and soon. We are looking at houses now and if we find one we need to be able to sell this one. Obviously the value would take quite a hit with an unfinished kitchen and we don't have funds available to have it re-done by a reputable contractor at this point. If ***** cannot get it completed ASAP we would like the money he was paid refunded so we can have a competent contractor finish the job.
