My first visit, for a routine oil change and check of fluids, on January 31, 2022 resulted in an oil leak.Prior to visiting Jiffy Lube, I had never had an oil leak present in my **** ***** S80 T6 as I, and its previous owners, have treated it well in changing the oil often and by ourselves. The first visit lasted longer than a usual oil change at Jiffy Lube, 2 or 3 cars came and went in the secondary terminal while my car was dealt with, and there were loud sounds from underneath me. No worker came by and told me anything about an oil leak or transmission leak or aftermarket drain bolt or anything strange. They charged me ****** dollars for this oil change.A few days after this oil change I checked my oil and noticed it was low when it was full at the time I checked it directly after their having changed my oil. I then looked below the car and noticed an oil spot more than ten inches in diameter and noticed the same after being parked at work for only a couple of hours. I then complained to Jiffy Lube and got word back to return and that they would fix the issue they caused. I returned and the manager, who was not present during the first oil change, stated that I had had a temporary fix, aftermarket oil plug in my car prior to their work.I had, prior to this visit, changed my oil several times (no oil leak) and recall it was an *** drain bolt prior to visiting Jiffy Lube. The manager refused to reconcile the situation and reinstalled a brand new bolt he claimed was in my oil drain pan bolt hole all along. I then took the car to my mechanic who quickly realized that Jiffy Lube had drilled into the *** drain bolt to affix a new bolt inside of it as the head had been stripped. There were metal flecks in the fresh oil they put in and fresh, untarnished, metal from this hack job on the underside of drain pan and so forth. After reaching out to their district manager, I have received no contact as to reconciliation or explanation. Just stonewalling.
