I have been waiting since February/March 2024 for Takeout Times to publish ads in six separate restaurants (in two cities). Finally, in October two of the six restaurants received their menus with my ads. Repeated calls, messages, texts, and emails remain unanswered. Several months earlier Takeout Times apologized for the delay, promising to publish the menus within the next few weeks, and offered a $500 refund to compensate for the problems. Neither all the menus nor the $500 materialized. In all my years advertising for my company I have never experienced such a blatant rip-off and scam.Review from Marelise N

I would not recommend this company to anyone, I am frustrated because this article has still not been printed nor has there been any communication unless I reach out. I have been more than patient and understanding, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I paid for an article back in May of 2023, and they have not yet created my article. As a new business owner with limited income, I chose to put the little money I had into advertising with takeout times only to be strung along, month after month. 7 months to be exact! Who in their right mind would be okay with this???Major lack of communication, unrealistic timelines, terrible customer service, and overall a scam. Was charged $1500 and then was told I would have placement in a restaurant of my choice. The sales representative told me that they will get ads out within a few months or my money back. We are now 5 months and no ads are printed. Based on the other reviews I may never get a refund. No one returns my calls when I call to ask about this. By the way it sounds their policy is they may actually never put out an ad for someone who paid them money and they will not ever refund the money. When I asked what if it took over a year. Their response was they have a no refund policy for any reason.Review from Stephanie B

Was charged $599 and then was told the program did not have enough participation so they would refund me since the advertising was canceled. Never got a refund. Still trying to call but now the number is not a working number and no one returns my calls. I did report this to the ****** *************************** at the attorney general office.Review from Diane T

Scam, beware! I paid $750 for menu advertising in June. The menu never happened and the take out times never notified me or offered a refund. Luckily I followed up several times and baby-sat them until they acknowledged the menu was cancelled. Been waiting over 2 weeks now for a refund,,, crickets now.Dont fall for it.
