My electric bill was ****** for the previous month, due on the 25th. Im low income and got my hours down to 15hrs a week. I didn't get paid until the 1st of Dec. I tried paying online and by calling and their payment system was down. Come to find out I didn't have enough to pay it after payment of my car insurance went through. So I was going to wait till the next paycheck and pay more. They turned my electric off that Monday, with no notice. Then I called and they said I have to ****** to get it turned back on. I don't have that kind of money. Then they gave me an option to pay by day which ***** per day. My friend paid ***** which they said would turn me back on. That lasted from Friday to Saturday, they said they will turn me off if I didn't pay more. I told the gal I didn't get paid till the 15th, she said I would fine. Pay day on 15th, I pay ******. That ****** only last from Friday to Monday, then again I pay another ***** which was the only thing I have in my account, no money for food or for my animals, and a shared well. Now they are wanting me to pay even more money for this month's bill which isn't due until Dec. 25th in order to keep it on. They said they don't have to follow state or federal regulations since they are coop...And I can't receive help from any other sources due the high homeless count. In my eyes this is extortion. I am low income, and this winter. I have no other money, but they keep upping my amount I owe. To me this fraud. Please helpBusiness response
