Hired David Johnson to help with a deed transfer. Before being hired he was informed it would be a time sensitive case as my grand mother was on hospice and fading fast. He assured me that he would do all he could to expedite things. I paid him, signed a contract, which states I'm entitled to a partial refund if services are unable to be rendered. He asked to do paperwork on may 19, to which we agreed and waited for his arrival. He never showed even though I reached out by phone and email several times. He finally showed up with the deed to be signed on may 22nd and by then my grandmother had slipped into unconsciousness. He emailed to tell me there was nothing he good to and sorry for my loss. I've contacted him multiple times requesting an itemized receipt of the services he says he's rendered, which he still hasn't sent. He did at one point agree to refund me $100 dollars, which I also have not seen. I have emails, the contract and phone logs as evidence.
