This is not a typical review, so read on dear reader.This week my wife and I purchased a new RV from Johnson RV in *****. The deposit was set, the financing was set, and the service people had the van, preparing it for our inspection. ****, we even had an appointment for the walkthrough and delivery.Then life happened. I called and spoke with ***** (one of our salespeople), and shared what had just occurred. I even told her I expected to lose my $2500 non-refundable deposit. She was understanding and kind. Even insisting that my deposit would be returned. Today the sales manager, ****, reached out to make sure everything was ok. Turns out we had something in common. Not something good, but that common ground allowed us both to show compassion and kindness to one another. I left knowing that the staff at Johnson RV are a kind and caring bunch, who put people before making a sale.Oh yeah, the $2500 deposit I mentioned, was returned.This type of service seems rare. But not at the ***** Johnson RV location. You all are the best.Thanks to ****, *****, ****, and ***** for everything.Review from Angela W

Would leave ZERO stars if that was a possibility. Once they complete the sale, its OVER for you. Lifetime Warranty is a SCAM. Avoid this place at all costs and save yourself the headache.Review from Greg S

While my experience with JOHNSONRV was initially promising in June 2022 with *************************** and ********************************* assistance, it has evolved into a deeply disappointing saga. Despite initial eagerness to help while I was in Washington, the dynamics shifted drastically after my relocation, hindering my ability to address issues in person. I want to caution potential buyers, be aware of the hurdles I faced and the concerning lack of responsiveness from JOHNSONRV.Upon purchasing the *** issues surfaced during a post-sale camping trip. Despite prompt return for repairs, the service department, led by *********************, addressed some issues but overlooked critical ones, including a cracked windshield. Discrepancies emerged during the July 20th pick-up, with JOHNSONRV initially denying the windshield's damage, only acknowledging it after my insistence.Assurances of windshield repair in ********* proved empty upon arrival, leaving me to handle the issue independently. Further complications arose with the malfunctioning air conditioning on the day of departure to *********. Despite reporting the issue, JOHNSONRV offered no solutions, suggesting repair en-route, which I self-funded.Though I was assured repayment for the *** when I sought reimbursement for repair expenses I was met with continuous silence to this day. Even after settling in ********* in January 2023, my attempts to engage JOHNSONRV have been futile, with unanswered voicemails and emails. This prolonged lack of follow-through and communication has left me with no choice but to warn others that JOHNSONRV is not a *************-purchase choice.My interaction with JOHNSONRV has been marked by unmet commitments, subpar communication, and a glaring lack of accountability. As a consumer, I am disappointed and feel responsible to caution others to look elsewhere before considering JOHNSONRV for their RV needs. Caution: Strongly Discourage Considering Johnson RV My recent experience with Johnson RV has been nothing short of a nightmare, particularly considering the substantial investment involved. While the initial purchase process seemed promising, it quickly turned into a series of disappointments.Our salesperson, ***, initially appeared knowledgeable and dedicated, assisting us in finding the right rig. However, the issues began immediately after the purchase. We were overcharged for the rig, with promises of a refund that never materialized. Additionally, assurances of a half tank of gas and a full LP tank were unfulfilled, and despite assurances of a refund for the shortfall, we are yet to see any reimbursement.Reporting minor issues with the rig within the stipulated timeframe yielded no results. The rig has languished in their shop for two months without any attention. Promises of timely resolution, including assurances from the owner, proved hollow as calls and emails remain unanswered. Even after meeting the owner in person to address the overcharge issue, no resolution was achieved, and follow-*** have been futile.According to a service person, the company prioritizes selling rigs and repairs for potential sales over fulfilling service commitments. This philosophy is not only unacceptable but speaks volumes about their priorities.My recent attempt to contact the service manager, with a promised call back within an hour, has left me frustrated as over two hours have passed with no response. Subsequent calls have gone unanswered, leading to further dissatisfaction.In light of these experiences, I strongly advise potential buyers to explore other options. Johnson RV has proven to be utterly inept on every level, and any alternative dealership is likely to offer a more satisfactory and reliable experience.Review from michelle T

As you can see a common bond with the reviews here. we bought our travel trailer in Nov 2023 oh yes their red carpet they say they care NO THEY DONT! We have had to cancel all vacations this year because our trailer continues to sit are the service **** at Johnson RV. We have also gone through multiple service managers who never know anything. The service Reps are no Help ! ** never returns calls never takes ownership just lays blame on the customer. Well Mr ********************** I would be embarrassed to know a customer is being told that our trailer parts are in but we dont know how they are to be put on. Anyone reading this if your considering to buy from Johnson RV DONT RUNReview from George W

I bought a brand new 2023 Travato from their Medford lot on June 20, 2023 that ended up having more than 20 problems with it - including a potentially dangerous recall on the generator fuel line. Many of these problems should have been found if they did the pre sale inspection that they claim to do. After getting no help from the Medford service department I tried the one in Sandy. The service was better at Sandy at first, then promises of what would be fixed and when were not kept. It has been 4 months since I bought my Travato and there is still a lot of problems that need to be fixed. I bought this RV for extensive travel in my retirement, but I am forced to stay close by and be at the beckoning call of their service department. My next service appointment is Nov. 1, 2023 and what is now scheduled to be repaired is not all that needs to be done, who knows how much longer it will take!? There are also some items that Sandy doesn't feel they should repair like a dented quarter panel they say is normal while the identical one on the driver's side is smooth, and the driver's side captains chair that wobbles worse every day but they say its normal! (there are no issues with the passenger side), and re caulking the windows over the sloppy original sealant until I can prove that they are leaking! I believe that a responsible RV dealer would have dealt with selling a lemon in a more forthright and expeditious manner.Review from Matt B

Johnson RV: Customer (NO!) Service If you have an RV in need of repair and are considering taking it to Johnson RV in *****, ******, DONT. Trust **** took my 2020 Winnebago travel trailer to them on February 14th, 2023 to replace the slide floor and replace the oven, and it is still there. I have not seen my trailer for almost 8 months! How is this possible? It has not been for a lack of trying on my part. I have called, emailed, and texted the service reps and over 50 times during the first 6 months. I believe the reason for this massive failure is due to the amount of staffing turnover (I have worked with 4 service reps) where nobody tracks the progress of my trailer. With each service rep there was hopeful progress followed by a silence, all contact would be lost. This pattern repeated itself several times. I made an in-person visit to talk to the service manager (***********************) two weeks ago and discovered the floor (not the floor on the slide) needed to be replaced due to damage caused when the slide floor was replaced. I was never told about this issue until my visit.After a 45-minute visit with ******, he promised he was going to talk to his district manager to work out a reduction in my $5,000 repair bill (for the inconvenience and a loss of a season of travel). He would then call me the following day (Wednesday) to tell me when the trailer would be done and results of a bill reduction. I had not heard from him so I called on Friday and left a message for him to call me. I have not heard from him yet and its been two weeks! How is this even possible?Review from Arne B

Stay away from this place. The installed a shower curtain and screwed up. Not a word from them since. We are trying to get recall work done and they ignore all emails and phone calls. Good luck getting service if you didnt buy your vehicle there. From the reviews it seems you wont get service even if you DID buy your RV there. Like most RV dealers they are first in line to sell you a stupid expensive RV but you are not worth their time after that.Johnson RV Response

Everything was great until after my purchase. I then traded my motor home for a trailer from a different company and needed to cancel my extended warranty. I've been trying since Aug. with no call back after leaving multiple messages. I've tried all avenues to get this matter taken care of and they will not call me back. I've contacted the other company that carries the warranty and they say Johnson RV has the only authority to take care of this matter for me. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The people I have spoken with have been rude and condescending. The practice of putting it off hoping people will just give up is infuriating.
