We flew to Philadelphia for my mother’s funeral, we stayed in an *** ***. On the afternoon of 9/30 we were expected to check out and catch our flight back to Kansas City so we decided to go online and order breakfast for our family and have it delivered, to save us time. We found the Armore Station Cafe was close to our *** ***, had online ordering, and delivered to our address. We placed an order for $75.56 on the evening before the delivery date so that the order would be waiting for them to prepare as soon as they opened. They open at 8:00am and we arranged for them to deliver our breakfast at 10:30am. After checking the doorstep and waiting around for a couple hours, we did not receive any delivery. By 12:00pm we checked out of our *** *** and left. My husband received a text message from a “**** ******” saying the order was delivered. We called the restaurant to say it was not received. We explained we did not use **** **** to place the order. We did not log in to any **** **** account or use **** **** to process the order whatsoever. We used their direct website. We chose to go there in person and ordered breakfast for dine in, we paid as separate order. We spoke to “Jen” at the restaurant who claimed no one ever came to pick up the order and that the kitchen never made that order. We ask for refund. Jen said when the manager returns he’ll refund us. Never happened. We got home and called, this time we spoke to the manager who claimed to process the refund. Days later, still no refund has been received. We called again, no refund. We reported to Ardmore police about the **** **** scam they are using for their website “delivery” service. The police said it will be watched out for but that they cannot write a report at this time and to file our complaint with BBB & the chamber of commerce in Ardmore. After getting the run around for our refund, we believe this is a scam they do to anyone placing online orders. We are still seeking our refund of $75.56.
