My mother, ****** **********, hired this company to provide home care services upon discharge from a rehab facility. On multiple occasions she was left without a caregiver for different periods of time. Some of those times for up to 4 hours. When I contacted the supervisor, I was told they were sorry, but people call off and they were "working on it". Unfortunately, my mother was left in bed several times without anyone to assist her in getting up and going to the restroom. I explained to the supervisor that she can't be left lying in bed without food, water, or restroom assistance. That is a breech of contract and endangers her health. He said it's "hard to staff" and I "must not understand". This latest occurrence was yesterday August 20. The supervisor never did contact my mother, myself, or my Aunt. My Aunt is a secondary contact as she lives in the same town as my mother. The supervisor finally sent a caregiver around 12:30PM for a shift that was to start at 8AM. He told the caregiver to come to my mom's house, but never called the family. He told the caregiver that my Mother's phone wasn't working. This is not true because I had spoken to her on her cell 3 or 4 times by then and her visiting nurse had called the house number at least once. These actions are very concerning because people rely on the company to provide services and keep their family members safe and cared for. This is clearly not happening.
