I reserved a unit online, visited the office to sign my storage unit lease. I was not shown the unit or location prior to signing the lease. After signing the paperwork I went to view the unit which was in the lowest level of the building which had motion lights but was still dark, there was no cell phone service on the lower level & only cage/screen cover as the top or ceiling of the storage unit. I found that after reviewing the unit that it would not work for me. Due to the office was now closed I called & emailed the next morning that I would like to cancel the storage unit. I was advised that it would be no problem & a refund would be issued. I have had to make numerous calls I believe at least 3 or 4 additional calls, most recently spoke with the assistant manager who advised that she believes the checks are cut on Fridays that was now last Friday. I am approaching close to a month with trying to get my refund. Each time I call & speak with someone I am told something different. I simply would like my refund that should not take close to a month to process.
