I am disabled in a power chair From National Seating& Mobility Co- Last month I called to tell them There was a problem w chair It wasn’t Working Properly-They had no one to fix it till In April week before 19th a guy from NSM came and Checked said nothing wrong apparently then he took out a feet rest to change it? I said I didn’t order that?” He said it was ordered he then replaced mine w His- and it off set Weight of chair- I called NSM on Monday April15th reported something was wrong chair was Tipping ***** I moved around my Apt- Erin answered and told her someone needs to return my my foot rest it’s too small my feet are hanging off it? She said no workers to come soon She gave me that Friday for repair man- So on Thursday that week I went on errand to G eagle down the sidewalk from my Apt- I stopped to cross chair Tipped & Belt broke over threw me off chair onto Side walk - My face hit Sidewalk knocking off glasses & strangers3 stopped to help They wait for Ambulance I was on ground couldn’t move Went STClair Hospital& My 2nd Rib On right fractured- they released me From 2pm-11pm I was in hospitalEr in great pain! I called Erin told her- All she said” Oh My! We will have worker come to give you new belt! I said the foot rest was off balance and I told you this Monday! Guy NSM came no footrest only belt? He said he didn’t get order for footrest change& left- now chair is dangerous until I get a new chair UPmC ordered on tomorrow at CAT center Oakland Yet I’m Suffering in great pain! I had this chair 5 yrs this December and a chair before it same co NSM -Ever since Covid NSM has gone down hill Repairs late, And They don’t put chair ordered parts through when you order them- I did not order any Footrest They admitted it was an error and didn’t know who did it? It was the chairfix it guy from NSM- I want an Apology from NSM and I want this resolved I’m in pain & Suffering& They are responsible for injuring Me- I have Medical reports of scans ER ordered too!Business response

I cannot walk at all to to a health issue. I am 81 years old. My specialist ordered me to go to National seating and mobility to be measured for indoor scooter. This was done by Michael P*******. After insurance agreed and for me to pay 20 percent which I did my scooter has been canceled and rescheduled for 8 weeks now. My old one quit working 3 weeks ago and my 84 year old husband is pushing me to bathroom and chair and bed by hand which I have called the company and begged, cried and screamed to please deliver my totally paid scooter to no avail. Terrified he will have a heart attack. Please help meBusiness response

***** filed a complaint on 1/16 and on 1/17 she received her power wheel chair. I think the file needs to be removed.Initial Complaint

I got a scooter from national seating and mobility. It has not worked and they refuse to replace it. This scooter cannot be fixed.
