      To Answer the Complaint:

First, I'd like to address our associates going to court. Many firms, including ours, use associates to attend court hearings. Our associates are briefed, well educated, and experienced in these kind of cases. I brief them personally and they also meet with the clients. In fact, one of the meetings was held in our office with myself and the associate. The client was able to thoroughly go over her case with both of us and had both of us to give advice and consult on tactics in the client's hearing.

Second, we had many phone calls through January and March to go over the case with the client. Several times we requested that the client come to the office but the client refused to do so. The client sent her relatives instead. On more than one occasion this attorney called the client before phone/video conferences and the client would not answer the phone call or the text. On one occasion even after stressing that we needed to speak, the client still refused to do so. This was in March of 2022.

Third, over several hearings and one that last six hours, this attorney was able to resolve to the client's benefit one of the statuses for one child. Due to error in time, this attorney was late for the last hearing, which was a status hearing involving what services were being provided to the children. Despite the lateness, there was still room to move towards success but the client did not desire our services any longer. Due to our flat nonrefundable fee and the time put in the case, we did not refund the client.

Some cases take multiple hearings over time.  We always drive to obtain the best outcome that we can for our clients.

      S Sincerely,

        Matthew ** P****** ****
