      I purchased a 2021 *** ** ***** in July 2021 from Brooks Powersports for $14,000. I had it for 16 days and the engine light came on. I took it back to the dealer and they've had it since then(6 months). They don't know what is wrong with the "brand new" bike. They keep telling me that they are waiting on a part that has been on back order. Now all of a sudden they want me to spend $4000 more to get a 2022 because all the 2021s are sold out. I've requested my money back or a new bike without having to pay extra since I've missed so much time from my bike after spending a large sum of money.

      The customer purchased his ***** from us and had manufacturer issues with it. The part we need to fix it has been on backorder for about 5 months and we have not received it yet. Because of his frustration, we reached out and just asked him about trading it in for a new 2022 model. The 2022 model is a few thousand dollars more and has many upgrades over the 2023 model. If I we would have taken the other model on trade, it would have sat here until the part came in. In today's world there are a lot of vehicles that are missing electrical components due to shortages of chips and other components. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases. This customer has also sent a lawsuit to the manufacturer, which we are now letting them handle. 

      His complaints have to do with *** **** the manufacturer and not Brooks Powersports, yet he wants to keep blaming us. If we had the part, the vehicle would have been fixed the week after he dropped it off with us.
