      My parents bought a brand new refrigerator and the door was dented upon delivery it was to be replaces and still has not. It's been 2 months and now the freezer quit working and they lost all of there food. We contacted a repair man through maytag and he did not show up. Now they are sending another. We asked for there fridge to just be replaced and were pretty much told f you. My parents are retired and on a fixed income. They can not afford to buy a new one and are now out all that food. I feel they should fix the problem.

      I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TRY AND RESOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT HER PARENTS NAME OR ADDRESS IS SO I WILL CONTACT ****** TO FIND OUT IF THERE'S SOMETHING WE CAN DO FOR HER PARENTS CONCERNING THIS ISSUE. THE MANUFACTUER SHOULD HAVE SENT A TECHNICIAN AT NO CHARGE TO HER PARENTS TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE PLUS ALSO SHOULD HAVE OFFERED A REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE FOOD THEY LOST. UNFORTUNATELY MY TECHNICIAN IS INJURED AND NEEDS BACK SURGERY OR WE WOULD OF HANDLED THIS OURSELVES FROM THE BEGINNING. ALSO WE WOULD NEVER TELL A CUSTOMER F YOU WHEN THEY NEED OUR HELP. WE WOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 95 YEARS IF WE TREATED PEOPLE IN THAT MANNER.

      Bought parents a fridge/freezer when theirs broke. We unwrapped it at home and there were large dents in the freezer door. Called them and took pictures immediately and they said they will order and fix it over 6 weeks ago. Then the thing broke down and neither side cools and we again called and they said call Maytag we can’t do anything about it (just purchased six or so weeks ago). Called Maytag several times to get a service scheduled the first company never showed and they are just now sending another. This is poor service and obviously they don’t back their products when it’s pretty much “you bought it your problem, attitude”. Maytag admitted this model has had compressor issues. So why is anyone selling to begin with.

      This is Gary from Rosendahl's Appliance Center. I'm responding to this complaint # above.
      I don't see a customer waiting for service on a new machine with any company for 9 months
      as this customer is stating. We don't have a service technician at the moment that is why we
      tell the customer to call the manufacturer directly so they can get service scheduled when it works for them.
      Unfortunately we don't know customers schedules to call it in for them. It's just easier for the customer to call directly period.
      We pride ourselves on being here for our customers to try and help anyway that we can but without our own technician
      right now we have no choice but to have them deal directly with the manufacturer. Our store wouldn't be in business for going on
      100 years if we didn't do everything in our power to try and help our customers* *** ****** is more than welcome to call me directly
      or stop at the store and I'll do what I can to try and help him and hopefully keep him as a customer for years to come.

      The refridgerator I bought from them was damaged and the keep telling me the part is on order for the last 17 months. I don't believe it woud take this long to resolve this matter. I bought this in May of 2021 and paid by credit card. It was delivered damaged and they left it and said they would order a new door that was damaged. I have called many times only to have them say the door is not in yet. I don't think they ever ordered it.

      We have ordered the door for this refrigerator. I will be more than happy to contact the manufacture on this matter to see when we will have the door. Once we receive the door we will be out to replace it for the customer. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of the manufacture to produce the door for us to correct the problem.
