Hello, a vehicle was purchased with cash from this company the end of May 2022. They gave a temp plate and said that the proper documents would be sent via motor vehicle for the title and registration transfer seeing we are from another state. Months went by and no paperwork came. I contacted and complained and was told that motor vehicle was still behind due to covid. They gave me another tag and said be patient. Upon the new tag getting ready to expire I contacted them again and they ensured they would look into the problem. Then they stopped taking my calls so I contacted motor vehicle myself, and after a few days of several calls I was finally able to reach someone. The employee of motor vehicle informed me that because we out of state buyers they would have no reason to have any involvement in the transaction. That the company should be giving us the title so that we can take it to our motor vehicle to have it transferred and the vehicle registered. After about two months of attempts and using different phone numbers I reach Emmanuel Auto (and making my displeasure known) they said that they have a title person that handles their title paperwork affairs and he would be in contact soon. Another couple of months went by and I have heard from no one and they are back to not answering my calls.Initial Complaint

On August 9th 2023, I purchased a car from This business and was guaranteed that the car was in full working order and that I had nothing to worry about. In 2 days of the car being parked in my driveway awaiting an insurance card so it could be legally driven it would not start, after calling Emmanuel I was told that it is the starter so I should purchase said starter and they would fix it for free. I reluctantly purchased the starter and had the car towed to the shop where I was told to leave the car and keys to the car so it could be fixed. A few hours later I was called back and told that it wasnt the starter and it had to be another electrical problem which was never stated or disclosed when I asked about issues the car had. I was guaranteed a car that runs and drives great but I hadnt even had the opportunity to drive the car before it decided not to start up. This car was sold as-is however as-is condition would have been what was guaranteed by the ad uploaded along with this complaint as well as guarantees made by the seller. Selling a car not in the condition disclosed would mean that this seller is trying to pull a scam.Initial Complaint

On November 10th I seen a ad on ********* for a 2011 ***** ****** good condition no problems for 3,500 contact info is Emmanuel Auto Motors & Repair at ********************. Me and my Uncle ****** who is car knowledgeable went to test drive the car. We both noticed issues(C.E.L on and hard to brake). He explained that the C.E.L light was on a O.2 censer and the brakes need to be bleed. As negotiated sale price of $3,000 before purchasing the car and buyer puts down $1,500 as a deposit in which Emmanuel was going to fix all repairs on the car before paid in full.On November 11th around 2 p.m Emmanuel called and said the car was ready and safe for the roads.With little grace ****** with work and the legal document that the seller created, I decided to go that evening after work with ******. I was being rushed because off closed at 430 pm.(text documents below).When we got there he quickly took us to the back for purchase of sale for total amount of 3,000.(1,500 in deposit)(550.00 in cash app) and 950 in cash.I then pulled off on noticed that NOTHING was fixed on the car.I called Emmanuel quickly and he said bring it back tomorrow or have a second opinion and he will fix any repairs for free. Next day I took it to Meineke for a full Diagnostic Check.Upon this diagnostic check this car was in very bad condition and not safe for the streets.I contacted Emmanuel the same day and no response through text and also via voice calls. ******(witness)tired to contact him and no response to fix this issue. I'm request a full amount of refund as well as insurance storage fees and diagnostic checks in the amount of $3,143.65. However this amount can increase due to legal fees.Emmanuel sold me a vehicle with no tag or inspection stickers,he is not willing to cooperate to resolve this issue. He gave false statements related to the vehicle also false statements about repairs and car condition. Car also had water damage he used tape to cover rust on the side of the car.
