GENERAC REFERENCE #******* I had an issue with my ******* HOME GENERATOR, GENTLEMAN from company came out and diagnosed the problem as a a burned out SMART A/C MODULE in the transfer switch. The unit came with a 5 YEAR ******* WARRANTY. TECH said he would check with ******* About the warranty. A couple weeks later I recieved a bill for $387.82, I called and was told that the transfer switch only had a 1 year warranty. About 6 weeks later while going thru other paper work I pulled out the ******* WARRANTY and found both the ********* and TRANSFER SWITCH had a 5 YEAR WARRANTY. I called GENERAC to confirm, ******* tech called ****** and called me back stating ****** thought it was only a 1 year warranty and would resubmit the bill for payment. I WAITED until Jan. 4th 2022 to call EARL WEAVER CONTRACTORS about the bill and my refund THE TECH WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE, HUNG UP ON ME AS SOON AS I STATED MY NAME...Business response

We do care about this issue and while we were not aware of the complaint to BBB, we responded to ****************** due to his interaction with us on the phone with a refund check of the full amount on January 4, 2022.
On January 11, 2022 the check cleared, so we do know that he has received the check and deposited it.
