07/01/2022 I rented this house #**** over the weekend for me, and my family started the date above and ends on 07/03/2022.So on the first night i was suppose to checked in at 04:00PM but i run late and end up checked at around 11;00 PM due to heavy traffic which was hectic due to 4th of July rush.On Saturday we woke up to no hot water just cold water i called the owner she told me her plumber is out of state and she is trying to get on to some one else, i understand that, they took atlest 5 hours later to come and fix the problem which i had my baby there and my whole family waiting to shower and uses the water. Later that night the hot water is off again...... a few hours later it return on working. So when i reached on Friday night at house i spoke with her she said i could leave later sunday because i was supposed to check out at 10;00 am but i end up reaching late so she said i could take some extra time more and check out later on Sunday, I understand that, the owner came Sunday morning everyone was sleeping a few family member was awake and a few was sleeping. That woman came in the bedroom and started to pull off the bed sheet off the bed with someone laying on the bed which is very bad and irritating because some one was sleeping on the bed and she was so rude to us like "its not ok" because she came in a rush and we have to pack our stuff up she was like chasing us from the house and i paid US $2,700 for that house. when i leave she texted me that i damage her stove surface because i didnt clean and she took $350 for cleaning fee i am pleading to the better business bureau to see what best they could help me with.Thank You.

      Dear *** *******:
Please be advised that our law firm represents the Emerald Lakes Association, Inc. (the “Association”). We are in receipt of a complaint filed with your office by ****** ****** against the Association. *** ****** is obviously very confused and mistaken about the Association’s role within  the Emerald Lakes planned community.
*** ****** claims to have had various problems with a house that she rented in the  community and its landlord. It is important to understand, however, that the Association does not own, rent, maintain or otherwise have control over the residential units in the Emerald Lakes  planned community. To the contrary, as with almost all planned communities, the individual  residential units are owned and maintained by private owners. The homeowners association, on the  other hand, owns and maintains the common areas, such as the lake, pool and clubhouse.
To be sure, *** ****** did not rent the house from the Association. If she is truly dissatisfied with the condition of the rental property or her treatment by the landlord, her complaint  lies solely against the unit owner. She has no complaint against the Association.
In conclusion, the Association is sympathetic to *** ****** but is not responsible for any  problems that she may have experienced. In fact, the Association would be very interested to learn  more about the landlord in order to determine whether any Association rules were violated by this  rental. To than end, we ask that *** ****** provide our office with (1) the address of the rental  property, (2) contact information for the landlord and (3) a copy of her lease.

       Very truly yours,

       Nicholas ******* H.
