Love our camper. NOT THE SERVICE. Ordered new trailer from Harrisburg RV Show in February and told it will arrive mid-to-end-****** We had a trip scheduled mid-May and thought nothing of it until it didn't arrive. In the attempt to get updated timelines (because things happen), we could not get anyone to return emails or phone calls. ****** finally arrived mid-May (we missed our trip) only for it to be wrong and missing features that were custom ordered (both the manufacturer and RV Value Mart missed the mistakes). We agreed to take the camper while they ordered the missing parts and then schedule for the updates to be made which would take a few days. When the parts "arrived," they picked up on agreed date for "a few days of work." We are now at the end of Week 3 of them having them camper and they just now ordered additional missing pieces, being sent to them via freight - a long time - with no timeline for when it will be done. All this while we are paying for a seasonal site that we're unable to use. No compensation. No attempt to make it right for our losses. And still like pulling teeth to get updates. Will NEVER recommend RV Value Mart. Go somewhere else. Once they make a sale, they are done with you.RV Value Mart Inc Response

We are very sorry that you are unhappy with RV Value Mart. We are working on getting this fixed as fast as we can. When the fireplace arrived we all thought it would be a quick and easy fix but after it did not fit in the hole what not the same size we are waiting for additional parts. We do have this TOP PRIORITY and can assure you that it will be done as soon as the parts arrive! When we can see the parts are coming we will also communicate that with you!Review from Mike J

They were fine until they made the sale then they would not return any phone calls it took over 2 1/2 months to get our license plate for the ** I will never do any business with them also I strongly recommend that you shop elsewhere not one person in the ********* store are professional with the way they treat their customers STAY AWAYRV Value Mart Inc Response

Thank You for your trailer purchase on May 18. We do realize it took alittle longer than normal till we got the paperwork back from ********** DMV etc. It also was the last straw when **** lost the overnight delivery with the tag that was coming to your house.( I believe we provided you the tracking info for this). Our goal is to always have you the tag before your temp tag expires within 2 months of the sale. Sorry it was a few days past the 2 months. Initially, I was apprehensive about buying a camper from RV Value Mart, influenced by negative reviews. However, we encountered a camper that piqued our interest, and we decided to take a chance. Regrettably, this decision proved to be a significant error. We collected our camper on Tuesday, May 14th, and conducted a walkthrough. We promptly transported the camper to our usual campground, refraining from setting up due to the rain. We leveled the camper, transferred our belongings from our old camper, and departed. On Wednesday afternoon, I came back to start getting everything hooked up. Everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, I noticed water on the camper's floor by Thursday afternoon. I pulled the access panel and found water under the bathroom area of our Fifth Wheel. I emailed and called the salesperson, but I received no response. Thats how long we had our camper. Also, they inspected the camper for us per PA regulations. This is for safety purposes, I would love to know how it passed a Safety Inspection with a bubble in a tire! So here we sit with an RV that has a water leak from somewhere and a tire that needs to be replaced. All within two days of our purchase! I should have known it was a mistake after our day of looking at the camper and signing the paperwork. We sat down with *****, our sales guy, who gave us a speech about how he was a traveling salesperson for the company and would go from store to store. It was a Saturday, and he said he was heading out the next day to return to ** but would be back Thursday. He got us to sign the paperwork, but I caught him in a lie. Luckily for me, I recorded our conversation. He told the sales manager, or whoever he was on the phone with, that I was trying to get them to throw in a Fifth Wheel hitch for free, but that was a lie. ***** was the one who suggested it to us. I tried to call him on Monday, only to be told by **** that ***** was contracted and would not be returning to the dealership.RV Value Mart Inc Response

Customer Satisfaction needs improving at RV Value Mart. When you buy a used camper from RV Value Mart, they are sold as-is and we purchased a used 2016 from the Manheim location August 2023. We were told the camper would be cleaned, but after it was delivered we we had to clean mice droppings in several areas of the camper. As we were cleaning our camper the day of delivery, we found a loose panel in a corner of the main bumpout. Further investigation, we uncovered the issue, everything soaked in the wall and ceiling, and we had to gut it all...wall and ceiling panels, insulation, wood framing, carpet, and floor, all soaked and black with mold. After ruminating for a few days on what to do with our new purchase, we contacted RV Value Mart and sent photos of the disaster we found ourselves in. We know the purchase was as-is, but with the extensive damage, and the fact we paid "full price" for a camper that was NOT a fixer-upper, we feel RV Value Mart could contribute to the repair in some way. But the owners have decided they owe us nothing! I dont normally write reviews, but felt our story may help someone else. And RV Value Mart owners should stand behind what they sell, Especially since they boast on their website how they sell "only the best new and used campers", and their "goal is to help their customers achieve an enjoyable RV experience". Nevertheless, I would suggest buying elsewhere, or look over your potential purchase extensively because it is obvious they could care less about customers enjoying their RV buying experience. Once they get your money, they are done with you. We are not happy campers and our experience with RV Value Mart hasn't been enjoyable! *Forced to leave 1 star, ugh!RV Value Mart Inc Response

******, Thank You for purchasing from RV Value Mart. You are correct we do sell alot of our used as is. That all being said it is our intention to sell at full discloser. Sometimes when we are buying trades in etc we are not told the full story from the previous customer. Maybe they dont even know there is an underlying problem. If you need some paneling etc I do have some at the **** location if you stop around we will look around if anything matches up and trim pieces etc. I would be happy to offer these at no cost if its an item I have in stock.Review from Jodi C

I cannot say enough great things about the service department at the Willow Street location. We were packed up and ready to go camping and our key would not open the door when we got to the storage facility. There is no other way to get into the camper like some campers. It was 3:15pm on Friday of Memorial Day weekend, and we were in York. We called the service dept at Willow Street because we bought the camper from RV Value Mart at the end of last year. They told us to drive there right away and they’d try and open it with their master key. It took us an hour to get there with the holiday traffic and we thought our whole camping trip was going to be over before it started. When we got there, the service guy “Dave” discovered that the master key would not work because it wasn’t the deadbolt that wasn’t working, it was the actual door lock. Several other service guys came out to help. They knew within 15 minutes that the mechanism inside the lock was broken. We thought we’d have to leave it there and go home because they were closing for the holiday weekend. But, to our surprise they replaced the whole lock within 30 minutes and had us on our way. I cannot tell you how much we appreciated this level of support and service. That just isn’t given by anyone anywhere anymore and we instantly became lifelong dedicated RV Value Mart customers in that instant. We will never go anywhere else! Bought a used camper that they totally upsold for and scammed us with many things. I left a review on there google page in which they originally replied too with what seemed like absolutely zero remorse, now my review is deleted and they still haven’t done a single thing in bettering what they did. They can’t even acknowledge a bad review that they put on themselves and there are plenty of others that had similar circumstances. Don’t buy from salesman dave, and to the crook who made us rush our paper work who i dont know the name of, you have a very lovely team (you should be so proud —-not!) anyone thinking of buying anything from the business 1000% dont go to rv value mart inc.RV Value Mart Inc Response

My boyfriend an I came in for a camper, and they overcharged us on a camper with many problems, first was a bug problem there was a fee when we viewed it so we thought that will be okay we can get sprays and kills them. No we had to bug bomb the whole camper when we brought it back because it was infested. They showed us two small spots on the floors that may need to be fixed in the future, well they are much bigger, and there were a few other spots they did not mention to us and show us. Our roof is leaking now too, and ruined quite a few pieces of clothing in out closets on the side of the bed which we cant afford to buy more clothes because of this camper they sold us. Our pipes are even leaking where the water goes down. Our sink faucets are flimsy. The door we use to open to get o the little sink and grill area on the outside has water damage and still leaks: they sold us the camper knowingly not inspecting it at all and leaving us with many unknown problems that they didnt care to tell us about. There safety check is also a lie, they left all the problems and just sold it and took some hoses that we did need for this, i’m assuming was there way of thinking we would have to go back and buy them. They are not getting business from me ever again. If i could give 0 stars I would. Trust me.Customer Response

Our cabinet drawers are also busted we can open the one outside because its janky and the things that slides it out is broke from previous owners, there was definitely a mice problem, we had to repair a vent pipe for our heat to be able to work and underneath where it connects there were visible mice feces which was another thing that was never mentioned to us.Customer Response

RUN!!! 3 issues, warranty and recall, Jody the service manager never evens looks at the schedule. just cries we are too busy and blah blah blah.... Even contacted Coachman corporate, they reached out, he gave them an attitude as well. strike 3. and I am here. but it looks like I am one of many not happy with them especially the service department there should be a way to leave zero stars!
