Good morning, I am contacting you regarding Fisher Auto Sales taking advantage of my low credit and scamming me into purchasing a warranty/GAP insurance around 11/19/2020. I was told that I would be required to purchase a warranty (Wynn's Plus) and GAP in order to get a loan for my 2008 Acura MDX with Credit Acceptance. Until recently I did not know this was a scam. I was scammed into purchasing this warranty for $1,816.00 and GAP insurnace for $1,149.00. I am a single father who had filed bankruptcy around the time of my purchase so they saw my desperation of needing a vehicle and took advantage of me. I am requesting help in resolving my issue and being reimbursed for what I was charged. Although my vehicle immediately had issues within a week of driving off the lot I never used the warranty as they made it difficult to even get my vehicle fixed at their dealership. When talking about my vehicle to a family member I was told it was illegal to make me purchase a warranty. I have limited resources to even attempt to recover damages I feel I am entitles to. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in this matter.Business response

We pride ourselves in the fact that we offer quality vehicles at all price ranges. Shortly after ** ******** purchased his Acura he called me that his rear door window wasn't working properly. I told him we would order the part and make arrangements to repair it at no charge. Over the past two years he would contact me about every six months, set an appointment and then never show.
We always recommend service contracts on older vehicles because of the cost of repairs. Gap Insurance is also highly recommended with special financing because of higher interest rates and the lack of equity. Should the vehicle become a total loss the customer has no liability. With that said we never force
our customers to purchase either product.
Both the Service Contract and the Gap insurance was provided Via Credit Acceptance Corp which is who *** ******** is financed with. They will only
accept their products.
Moving forward, I have attached forms that *** ******** signed with regards
to the purchase of both products. The warranty expires in one month?
If he would like to cancel either item he would need to do so directly with
Credit Acceptance Corp, I believe they would both be pro-rated and would be credited towards his balance owed.
Please see attachments and contact me if you
