I first contacted serie puppy farm December 4th 2022 inquiring about a 12 week old basset hound for purchase. I was told the location being in Pittsburgh but transportation was guaranteed, we discussed payment of 760 which included a overnight delivery by air. A full balance had to be paid before the puppy was shipped out , payment was sent via zelle with the following information Zelle Email: ***************** Name: ****** ****** Reason/ Memo: *****. After which we were told *****(puppy purchased) would be place with a travel agency where she would be accompanied by a nanny on her flight. The company used by the seller charged an additional 989 dollars for pet insurance which was required to start the process of shipping even though sellers website states they pay all fees for transport. As I was eager to get the puppy ( as we were getting to help my 10 yr old niece with anxiety and depression) I sent the money thinking this was normal and was told she would be on the next flight out and would arrive Friday dec 9th. I then was told there was and issue at the Houston air port and she would not be flown until the next day. When I contacted the agency they advised that she had never left Pittsburgh saying their was a mix up. Then later was contacted saying I needed to pay an additional 890 dollars for and air controlled kennel for her to board the plane from Houston to San Antonio where I was to pick her up. Once I refused to pay more money they stopped communicating with me after being told this had to be done for me to get my already purchased puppy. The seller at serie puppy farm was contacted numerous times via email with no response. So I am currently out of 1600+ dollars , no puppy and no contact from either the seller or the hired travel agency and I am looking to report them and find a resolution to this very frustrating ordeal . I have saved all emails between all parties .
