AAP contacted me countless times. They used various numbers to avoid my blocking of their incessant harassment. Nevertheless, I had two older cars that I thought eventually would need extended warranty, so I began a dialogue. The rep outlined the costs and supposed benefits of their coverage, asked a lot of identity-sensitive info, promised they come through on their claims, and said I had only the moment to decide because the deal was only available right away to curb people from going out, damaging their cars, then calling back for coverage. They said I had thirty days to consider after signing up, and that a full refund was due if I decided to cancel. I took these guys at their word in good faith. I even tried to cover my other car, but it was too high in mileage. I nevertheless accepted coverage for just the one car, and I was told Id be emailed my policy right away. My credit card was immediately charged. No policy was ever emailed. The very next day I received notices from several identity theft protection agencies that my social security, my phone number and drivers license had all been compromised. I immediately called "AAP" back at ************ to cancel my policy. I felt I could not trust them based on the circumstances, and that their costs, when I actually had a chance to compare them with others, were not worth the value of my old car. The little man that answered the call argued and argued with me for over ten minutes. Finally, he said Id get an email from them the next day. In said email, I was to follow a link and then call them back to confirm the cancellation. I thought this was another huge red flag. The following day, no email arrived. I called AAP back, only to a dead answered call. I had to call back several more times to finally reach someone, only to the same little man that lied the last time. I was outraged at this point, and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He hung up. I reported the charge to my credit ca
