On 1/31/2022 my primary physician evaluated me and requested I get a COVID test. Lake scranton urgent cares web pages states they are a COVID testing location. I called lake scranton urgent care and stated my doctor is requesting I get a covid test for my records. They stated to come in at 1pm. I went to the center expecting to get a swab and leave as I had done with previous COVID tests. This time I was brought in, and was told I have to wait to see the doctor. But I had asked for just a swab as my primary doctor had already evaluated me. They never told me this was a office visit, they never told me I would be billed for anything more than the COVID testing. I have received a bill for $900 fees ranging from office visit, to new patient fees. This is entrapment and brought me in under false pretenses. If they were open with me and said they consider covid testing an office visit i would not have come in. I have tried talking to the staff and the office manager was to call me back in 5 minutes. Its now been going on an hour. Can this please be reviewed as they brought me in under false pretenses and are taking advantage of the COVID pandemic
