My husband purchased a Christmas gift card for me for a massage and was never told that he had to supply another credit card to book an appointment nor was he told that there is no refund policy. I tried to make an appointment today and was told they needed a credit card to guarantee the appointment time. I was told that even as a walk-in I had to give a credit card even if I have my gift card with me that he purchased. I requested a refund if I cannot just try to come in and see if there is free time for me but was told I would still need a credit card even if they could take me and had an opening with the gift card and if I walk in and there's no fear of a cancellation of an appointment I still have to provide a credit card. The manager I think her name was ******* would not work with me. I have to actually ask my husband for his credit card to get the massage and again he was not informed of this. So I would prefer a refund at this point. It doesn't seem ethical that they need a credit card. if that's the case he should have been told that and that there is no refund. As I said I will be happy to bring the card there if they do not have a record of it to guarantee my appointment time. And I would always call ahead of time if there's some sickness or problem that I couldn't make the appointment. My husband meant well but with their attitude and the fact that they need another credit card even if I show them the gift card is a little bit scary. At this point I would just prefer a refund. Thank you
