Made two orders that they never fulfilled. I called 6-8 times, inquiring why and when I would get my products. They would always tell me that they only have one person fulfilling the orders, but how is that my problem? They would just email that one person, and nothing ever happened. Never got what I ordered. Very poorly run business with poor customer service that does nothing to actually help you.Review from Michael B

I purchased a 2K psi pressure from Direct Tools outlet online. It was received missing the pressure hose and wand tips, and was in poor condition. I returned immediately for a replacement.3 days had passed when they received the unit back in their warehouse in Anderson, S.C, with no communication and no replacement processed..10 or so emails in and they could not tell me if a replacement was processed and/or sent. At that time, I requested a refund. Now 7 days later, no refund, communication or follow up. Phone calls, emails do not worry these people as they just say with a canned response "we apologize". Keeping money for a product not received and not refunding it, I would say constitutes theft. I buy from the store in my local area often and have no problems. Stay away from the online store, the products are in poor condition and they have poor customer svc, and will do nothing to help with an issue. As of today, 8/13, still no refund and I just sent my 12th email.Review from John A

I tried to place an order with them but entered an incorrect street name and number. The order was refused. When I called to inquire the first person wit whom I spoke said the shipping address must match the billing address. I as to speak with a supervisor because I did not believe the answer was valid. Th supervisor told me the order was refused because the shipping address was not a deliverable address which was my error. She advised me to use another credit cad because the previous order was linked to my email address and credit card number. I reordered using a different credit card and the order was rejected. I then had a relative order the item who uses the same shipping and billing address. This order was denied. I contacted customer service and explained what had occurred and asked what store(s) had the item in stock. The person checked and discovered there were none in stock and suggested I try to order it at a later date. I asked why the orders were declined/refused instead of the website indicating it was out of sock. They had no answer but I will be checking by credit card transactions to unauthorized charges.Review from Elizabeth P

Very dishonest business. I made an in-store purchase of a specialty item. I had questions as to whether the product would perform as it stated that it would and asked the store employee who had immediately pounced on me when I walked into the store about their return policy. I was told that I could return the product within 30 days with the receipt. We continue to discuss to make sure I had the right product and the necessary battery. We immediately just proceeded to the register while they were in the process of bringing up the purchase again ask them about the return policy because I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't have a problem with it especially if I had used the product. Then I had made the comment well I won't know if it works or not if I don't use it. They again stated you can return it within 30 days with the receipt. I made the purchase. The product did not perform So within a 30 days I returned it. It was at that time through that process after I was handed a gift card that I was told that it would be for a store credit. I told him that if I had known that I would not have made the purchase since it was a specialty item. I contacted their customer service and was told their policy was store credit for in store purchases but online purchases could be refunded. That didn't make sense so I was sent up to escalation. Spoke with the lead person and they just confirmed the same thing I said so I'm basically just stuck with a gift card for your store where I have no other need to purchase anything. They said it should be posted all over the store that was the policy. I said I was not all over the store I walked straight in saw the product turned around and there was an employee. So I verbally asked the employee. I guess that's on me for actually taking somebody for their word and not scouring the store for any fine print that would tell me what the return policy would beReview from Donald T

Terrible company. Sold me a broken leaf blower as a factory blemish. Returned after having to speak to multiple people, then had to contact them a third time as they did not send return label. Asked for a replacement which they said OK to, then after ten days received a refund even though item was in stock when returned. Wasted two weeks and money on gas returning item. Their computer system is trash and it's unmonitored. Tried to order 6 items. Each time the system accepted the order, then sent an email saying the order had been declined by the bank. Today, of course, the charges have all hit and they have $1000 of my credit limits. Calling them is a joke because you get a poor person offshore who makes $3/hour to get screamed at who knows nothing. Finally got someone to admit they knew it was going on, but that have no reasons and no solutions. GO ELSEWHERE!Review from William M

This company is the worst! Sent me a dangerous ***** hedge trimmer that turned on as soon as the battery was installed -- the safety switches were failing in the "on" position. I can understand that errors happen outside of the knowledge of the people working at the company but the problem is that it is impossible to reach anyone who can assist in getting the product replaced or repaired, They forward you to a ***** customer service line that is un answered. I've tried everyday for a week. I've left messages. I've texted and tried chat. I've called random people throughout the company -- nobody answers and nobody responds to messages. I've bought a lot of ***** tools (many thousands of dollars,) but always through the **** *****. If it breaks, **** ***** generally takes care of the issue. This store, Direct Tool Outlet is actually owned by the parent company of *****, Techtronic Industries. This company and ***** are guilty of poor business practices.. Sending broken products and making it impossible to contact for warranties is truly a form of robbery.Review from Andrew G

Direct Tools refuses to honor ***** 90 day replacement warranty, I have a sprayer that went bad within 90 days, motor bad, warranty center says no replacement motor is available. ***** warranty says return item to place purchased from within 90 days for replacement and Direct Tools says NO. I have many items bought from Direct Tools, but will no longer buy from them.Review from Bob W

BUYER BEWARE Unscrupulous business practice. I purchased ************ from Direct Tools Factory Outlet on 6/27/2023 for $209. By 7/1 the price had been reduced two more times to $126. I was refused compensation by email and phone. I feel certain that neither acquistion cost nor blemishes changed that much in three days. The return fee assures there will be no returns, with a 20% restock fee. BUYER BEWARE
