This company is an excellent choice for well pump replacement. They kept me informed about their arrival time and showed up when expected, The gentlemen doing the job were very capable and polite. The pricing was fair and I am very pleased with the results.

3/31/23 No water, Well broken. Homans came out and stated that I needed a new motor. When locating the wire he stated that my wire was not compatible with the new motor. He went under the house to get to the power box, and that is where the wire begins. Pulled the top off of the box to shut off the power. Zach at that time cut the wire right at the casing. Then placed his machine by the casing. Zach then went under the house placing the lid back onto the power box. At that time he used the wiring from the box to power his machine to pull the well. He pulled the well up and stated I needed new couplings, motor, and wire replaced. Well then replaced back into the casing. He then removed his machine and replaced the casing he had broken. He then connected the new wire to the old non-compatible wire with just 2 wire nuts and electrical tape. The well has been replaced twice in the last twenty years and always had one continuous wire from the well to the box. As a homeowner, I expected this. When I asked him about it he stated that was the way he did all his work with a splice at the casing. I have never had a splice. Also, this electrical splice is 12 inches from the water faucet located on the casing and 7 feet from the swimming pool. I have never had a splice or box at the casing in my 20 years as a homeowner. Expect to have one continuous wire. Feel unsafe with splice or box. Not to mention that this has failed the county code.

3/31/23 Homans clearwater co went on a service call to Mr S******s house on 3/31/23 at approximately 1 pm . We arrived to a no water call . After diagnosing we concluded the control box and pressure switch under the house was functioning correctly , then we check power at the pump head and found power there on a 14/2 wire . (that is to small for a 4 inch higher amperage motor which is what was existing at this time). All of this was installed by Mr S****** himself and the wire was pulled extremely tight because when Mr S****** replaced his pump himself several years back installs the wrong well seal . He needed a 6/1/4 inch well seal he had used a 6 inch well seal inside of a bell end which is 6/1/2 inches inside diameter . This BEING THE INCORRECT WELL SEAL , in turn sinks down into the casing wedging it into the casing making it impossible to retrieve and when it sinks down with no slack in the wire it pulls the wire tite and also cracking the pvc casing. Which the customer is blaming us that we broke which is not true at all , but even then he was not charged for repairing casing . Then we cut the super tite wire (also just so everyone knows there's a junction at the top of every well head there's no way to pull up 100 plus feet of pipe in the ground vertically if its still hooked up at the ground) and pull bad pump out . Once we get pump out its pretty standard to replace the threaded couplings because they get bridle if they are PVC and they corrode if they are metal . ( they are fairly inexpensive ) Replace the wire going down to the pump (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WIRE GOING FROM THE WELL HEAD TO THE HOUSE ) because the original wire had some visible damage done to it from being installed incorrectly ( not taped to pipe good and no torque arrestor going down in well) . Then replace the pump with a lower amperage soft start well pump that will work with the incorrect wire (FROM THE WELL HEAD TO THE HOUSE) because its a lower amp pump with better performance curves then the standard pump that was existing. Then we set pump back and make our junction at the top of well head regaining water to home with zero issues. Gave Mr S****** the bill and there was no problem. Then 5 or 6 weeks later i get a call from Mr S****** late in the evening Irate and cursing at and threating myself and my staff about his wire junction . ( EVERY WELL HAS A WIRE JUNCTION AT THE WELL HEAD , WE MOST COMMONLY USE WIRE NUTS TO MAKE THAT JUNCTION UNLESS ITS A COMMERICAL APPLICATION , AND NO ONE IN THE HISTORY OF WELL PUMP REPAIR GETS THE WIRE REPLACED ALL THE WAY BACK TO THEIR HOUSE WITH A PUMP CHANGE OUT UNLESS ITS BROKEN OR SHORTING OUT , ESPECIALLY IF WE CAN JUST PUT IN A LOWER AMP PUMP TO ACCOMMODATE THE SMALLER WIRE, THE PRICE POINT FOR THE 3 INCH LOWER AMP PUMP IS FAR BETTER THAN A WIRE REPLACEMENT . ) So I calmly asked him to call our number ( after explaining how everything works and ourselves) and we would come out and heat shrink the junction where the wire nuts are at no charge . Mr spigner did not do that, ( THE REASON I ASKED HIM TO CALMLY CALL THE OFFICE IS BECAUSE THERE IS SOMEONE THERE TO SET THE SCH AS I DONT DO THAT FROM BEING IN THE FIELD). Then this morning ON 5/11/23 he shows up at our office cussing and verbally abusing one of my staff in the parking lot . Again we will gladly heat shrink the wire at the well head at no charge . But under no circumstances will we replace the wire from the well head to the house at no charge . You can tell him to call 8036067953 and we will gladly heat shrink his wire junction at no charge. If we do go to his house and he gets loud with one of my staff members we will leave immediately. Mr S****** was told the cost of the job and was explained in detail what was wrong and why very thoroughly . He also stood outside with us MOST of the time while we were there. This job is done correctly and it was also done by myself and one of my staff, so I was the one onsite. ZACHERY H****
