Globalog transported my household belongings from the UK to the US. On 5 December 2022, they notified me that the shared container that contained my items had been selected for a customs inspection. I enquired about the type of inspection and was told by Rachel R*** that she would check into it (I never received a response). On 14 December 2022, Darren B******* emailed to say the container had been released from customs and I would receive a bill for the fees. On 30 December 2022 I received a ********** invoice from Globalog for $867.92, which I paid on 4 January 2023. My goods were finally delivered on 16 January, but there was no evidence that they had been inspected by US Customs and Border Protection (the delivery driver also intimated that the shipment did not appear to have been inspected). I asked for evidence that the shipment had been inspected on 17 January, 31 January, and 17 February, but Globalog has failed to provide any evidence that an inspection of my goods actually took place.
