This event took place 4/29/22. I contacted Campers Inn regarding to a specific toy hauler that was advertised on their site. The site stated the toy hauler slept 4 and had 2 fold down couches. I advised I would be driving 2.5 hours to come and see the toy hauler and the sales person, Mike Napier, told me he was available at 3. I confirmed I would be there at 3 and hit the road. I arrived at 2:50. When I went inside the company I was told all sales people were busy and they did not know when I would be helped. I advised I had an appointment at 3 with Mike and asked if it was ok that I wait outside as there was no good spot to wait inside. I waited until 3:20 when Mike finally brought out another person whom he called his photographer named Josh and stated Josh would show me the toy hauler. I let Mike know my specifications of what I was looking for and that this toy hauler was perfect for our family of 4 and in our price range, and he sent me off with Josh to look. Immediately upon entering, I FaceTimed my boyfriend and we noticed there were no fold down couches. The unit slept 2, not 4, the couches were not included as the description on their website stated. I mentioned this to Josh and he said "oh sometimes the descriptions don't match what we actually have in the unit itself." I was furious, I specifically drove a total of 5 hours round trip to see this toy hauler that was advertised as having the fold down couches and sleeping 4. When we called to complain in hopes they would somehow attempt to make it up, we were met with "well you should have seen in the pictures they weren't there". Often times, things are tucked away and/or folded up so we don't see them in the pictures, this was not our fault, yet the company took no blame. The sad thing is, I was not offered to view any other campers, I was simply sent on my way. Maybe if I had been a man I would have been offered to view other units, maybe I would have actually dealt with a sales person. Who knows.Business response
