On 1/18/23 had a new air handling unit install because we were told the old one was leaking freon. Purchase price is $5450.00 which we are paying on time. We had a long spring so we did not use the ac until the weekend of June 17th. We realized the ac was blowing for a long time (45 Minutes). Our home is only 1200 sq ft with blinds and ceiling fans. The thermostat was set on 77 . A technician was sent out the next day. He made an adjustment to the outside unit and thought that would fix it. Called back on June 26, still the same thing. Shawn came out on the 27th rechecked things. He looked at the New Air handling unit and he said he was use to dip switches and this did not have them . He thought the fan speed should be increased but he did not feel comfortable doing it. He called his boss Miles and Miles was going to come out that afternoon. . Called the office on the 29th since we had not heard anything. Receptionist was to relay the question. Called back on July 5th and left message on machine. July 10 still no return call. Called the Shawn since Miles does not return our calls. Shawn got back to me and said he and Miles would be out the next day. They came on 7/11 and Miles showed Shawn how to up the fan speed. We were told this should fix it. Thursday July 20th, house temp set on 77, o/s temp 83 degrees, air ran 1hr 6 mins. Left a message 7/21 at 8:21 am about this. No responce so called back at 12:55 and got Miles. Told him the same thing that was on the message. He said he would get with Shawn, find out what all he had done and they would come up with a plan. This Tuesday 7/25, setting in house 77, o/s temp 87, air ran from 5:58 pm to 6:19 pm. 1 Hr 10 Minutes in a 1200 sq ft house, blinds drawn, fans on, no oven on. Called Wed. 7/26 and Asked for Miles , he was not there but she would have him call. At 3:30 no call. I called and he was in the office. After our conversation, he is suppose to come out in the morning. He does not know whats wrong!Business response

The problem has been resolved. The original builder/installer did not seal the attic penetration for the thermostat wire and the system was drawing heat from the attic and tricking the thermostat temperature readings. We sealed the thermostat wire penetration. I installed a wifi thermostat so i could monitor it remotely. The system is working as it is supposed to.Customer response

The problem has been resolved finally. I think getting the BBB involved caused them to take our problem more seriously. Thank you
