Ive never had so many problems with a delivery and all my life I will never ever ever buy from Ashley furniture again. Ive been treated unfairly rudely trying to get my furniture delivered correctly. This is the seventh time that Ive had to try and get my furniture delivered completely. The first time they were missing items did not tell me that they were on backorder the second time, they lied and gave me a delivery date and I stayed at my home all day and nobody ever showed up or nobody ever called. Its just been a horrible experience. I called corporate to file a complaint. **************** said somebody would get back to me within 72 hours that was a month ago Ive never received a call or anything from anybody so now I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau please please please do not buy from Ashley furniture They will give you the runaround and no compensation which I did not Receive for the inconvenience time and trouble and almost losing my job because of their neglect and deliveries issuesReview from Al C

!!!!! We purchased 2 recliners several months ago from Ashley. Each recliner had a phone usb port to charge a phone. One chair had a faulty charger. The store here would not even consider helping us get repair made to the chair. The chairs are non returnable. This was not revealed to us prior to purchase. They gave us a number to call to schedule repair. The number was useless. we finally got a number and was told the part would be ordered and sent to our home and THEN we could schedule a repairman. A part came in several weeks later. It was the complete bottom frame of the chair. A box 3ft x 4ft square. For a usb charger. I visited the store to try and get help. I was given another phone number. i called and was given the same instructions. Order another part and wait for it to come in. Several weeks later and i have received nothing. This store is a sham. No support whatsoever. No warranty. No service. No returns. I would not recommend buying so much as a vase from these people.Review from Charlie S

If I could give zero stars, I would. We picked out the bedroom set we wanted, and we're excited about it. Our sales lady wrote up the order, but included pieces on the order that we had explicitly said we did not want. She had to revise the order. And then it happened again with different pieces that we had already stated that we did not want. Once the order was correct, we were told that everything was in stock, and set for our delivery date, other than one piece that we already knew was on backorder. It has now been a month since our original delivery date, and we still don't have a single piece of new furniture! A new delivery date gets confirmed every week, and I rearrange my work schedule to accept the delivery. And every week, the day before delivery is set, I get a call stating that they do not have all the pieces for our new bed! ***!! Haven't even heard from our salesperson once to inform us of what's going on. **************** has informed me that the salesperson should be giving us regular updates. We are so upset with the whole experience, that we aren't even excited about the new bedroom furniture anymore, and may just end up canceling the entire order! If you value your time and mental health, DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!!! Worst service I've received from any company at any point over my entire life!!!I absolutely believe that the salesperson tried to deceive us on purchasing our furniture! And, if the furniture ever shows up, I will be angry every time I look at it, knowing that the salesperson got her commission on it. The only thing that may save this $6,000 order, is if the salesperson's commission is docked, and credited to our bill. Beyond upset.Review from Anna C

I purchased a sectional from this store and I tried to have the delivery man rearrange the couch so that I could see if it fit in my living room and he didnt understand what I was saying. I rearranged the couch myself and no matter how put the couch it didnt fit. I called to have them come pick it up cause the sales worker I worked with told my husband and I we had 30 days to return the couch after delivery if there was a problem they informed me they cant take the couch back. I went to Ashley furniture in ********** at the **********************. They sold me a daybed when The delivery personnel came. They were slamming things around to install it after they left. They left me with a broken daybed. I called Ashley with my concerns. No matter what I said, they kept putting to red tape before anything. I am so disappointed I dont know what to do. I just want to share my story so that it doesnt happen to anyone else. It is not fair.Review from angelica p

I was sold a bed and charged to my Ashley Credit card. Per rep in store I was approved for a certain amount but then she supposedly called the Credit card and said they gave me 10% more on my card so I would not have to pull more money out of my bank. Well then when i got my bill statement they went over my allowed credit card amount by the 10% they said the Ashley gave me which was untrue. Ashley now has charged off my account and report it which is fine. but now they are not giving me a charge off letter which i need since they reported the charge off date wrong. Ashley is now refusing to give me a letter so i can fix my credit and on top of that they keep reporting the account late and give me late fees even with my account being charged off. This company will kill your credit. please do not open from Ashley's ever go to a mom and pop shop for sure.Review from Siobhan M

RE: Complaint Against Ashley HomeStore for Unresolved Refund Issue Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Ashley HomeStore ( for their failure to process a refund of $737.78 that has been pending for nearly two months. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company, I have not received the refund nor any satisfactory response.On 4/6/2024, I made a purchase from Ashley HomeStore, which I subsequently returned. I was assured that a refund would be processed to my **** card. However, as of today, 7/9/2024 , I have not received the refund.I have been in contact with Ashley HomeStore's customer care team multiple times. I was advised that proof of the refund had been posted to my **** card and that I would be contacted within two business days. Unfortunately, neither the refund has been posted nor has anyone reached out to me.My bank has confirmed that no credits from Ashley HomeStore have been received. I have documented all communications and can provide evidence if necessary.This delay and lack of communication have caused significant frustration and inconvenience. I am requesting the BBB's assistance in resolving this matter. If Ashley HomeStore continues to hold my money, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to recover the funds.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I purchased a leather love seat recliner from Ashley furniture in *********************On the day of delivery I called Ashley to complain about recliner not being compatible to the recliner i purchased in the Showroom lumpy, uncomfortable, and tilting in seat . I was informed that they had a no return policy and that I could have canceled order up to 3 days after purchase . I had to wait over a week for delivery, how was I to know of problems until I received it ? I was not even asking for a refund, I was willing to exchange it for a different item . I was told we do not have return policy . I am now stuck with a $2700 dollar horrible item with no hope of exchange.Review from Felicia S

This order was placed over the phome as it is gift for a baby' s nursery. Three items were purchased a nightstand, dresser and mirror all color white. Upon delivery the nightstand had 2 gray spots on the top. An exchange order was placed and a second delivery took place. When the second nightstand had the same issue on its top. The floor model does not. Whenever a delivery is scheduled I receive a text message as I was the purchaser. They left a voicemail on my son's phone asking for confirmation for a 3rd delivery. He didn't confirm delivery was on a call as firefighter. They never texted me ( and they have my number) to confirm delivery. They went ahead without customer's approval for delivery and tried to deliver it when everyone was at work. Now they want to charge us $75. When I asked them why they didn't text me as I'm the purchaser I wasn't given an answer. Also note that I purchased a maintenance plan for this furniture and when I asked if the top could be replaced (which had been offered once before) ***** at customer service said not until I paid the $75.00. Sales person ******* - very nice. Nylan at corporate customer service - nice. ***** - unhelpful and unprofessional. The product is faulty and they will not honor a service call or exchange due to an unauthorized delivery by customer.Ashley HomeStore Response
