On 5 September 2024, I stopped at Wendy's Restaurant #********, to use two **** coupons to order sandwiches. Receipt #**** ($8.16) was supposed to be for two "Baconators," and Receipt #**** ($6.20) was supposed to be for two "****** *******." The total paid was $14.36. "******" took the order, but was oddly argumentative and kept asking me to tell her *exactly* what I wanted on each sandwich. I kept telling her that I wanted exactly what was included with each coupon, and that was all. So instead of giving me exactly what was included, unbeknownst to me, she made up stupid variations on the Baconator, (yielding me only ONE beef patty and ONE slice of bacon, when really the real Baconator was supposed to include TWO beef patties and SIX slices of bacon) plus she added cheese to everything, which was also wrong. Note that she also specified that the orders were "Dine In" when I specifically said "To Go." She just couldn't seem to get anything right. When I returned home and looked in the bags, I then saw what she had done, and I was furious.I tried calling the phone number listed on the receipts, and it appears to be a guy's cell#, with disabled VM, and he never answered the phone, even after about 10 calls. I next called the Customer Service # for Wendy's, to file a complaint, and that was another bad experience. The # goes to an overseas "call center" and the man that took my info. was clueless and acted like he couldn't understand me. He also repeatedly questioned the address for the restaurant, and asked me to repeat everything at least five times. In the end, he apparently did nothing. I have been patiently waiting over a month now for a response, but have heard nothing. So I am now filing this complaint with BBB, and I will be filing a complaint with my credit card co., to get a full refund for the $14.36 I paid for this absolute rip-off, for JUNK. Adding... I'll never patronize any Wendy's ever again, as the business does NOT seem to value its customers at all.
