In January 2023, I had an order delivered by ****** and his crew from Palms on the Parkway--three palmetto trees (installed) and 21 large shrubs I purchased previously that they were holding for me. Only 18 of the shrubs were delivered, with ****** saying the remaining three would be delivered in the next few days. Fast forward to May. I notify ****** that two of the palmettos are definitely dead and the third has no growth whatsoever, despite watering as he instructed. (The palmettos have a one-year guarantee.) Also, after multiple calls/texts, I have still not received the three missing shrubs. ****** says he will replace the trees and thanks me for reminding him about the shrubs. I have called a dozen or so times since then with no luck--generally no answer or return call. We spoke once in mid-July and he indicated he would replace the palmettos and deliver the remaining shrubs the next week, but that wasn't done, nor have I been able to get in touch with him. This was a purchase beyond $2,000, and I can't just write it off as poor customer service. If there is any way the BBB could help rectify this issue, or if ****** at Palms on the Parkway will make good on his commitments, I will update this complaint accordingly.Initial Complaint

We purchased a palm tree from this company who came and installed it. The tree started to fall over and we had to hold it up with a big ladder wedged in our lawn. Owner of the company said it will not fall, yet it is completely leaning over. After at least 5 phone calls, numerous texts and going to the business where he is never to be found they finally came to fix it. Since then the tree is brown and never has been green. We went to the store with photos and the girls that work there said it sure is dead, we said we wanted the owner to come out and tell us what we can get that will grow other than this dead palm tree in the middle of our yard. She said absolutely and since it has been a problem, they are sure he will replace at no charge. We said we will pay just give us a live tree. She took address and phone number and nothing. I have called the place and sent numerous texts, he is always out of town or leaving and will get back to us last text was he will stop by, he never answered when as I said when will you be here. Still nothing. We want this tree removed and replaced with a live tree that will live.Customer response

We want to let you know that this company came today and removed the dead palm tree and gave us a brand-new live tree. We are very satisfied, and we want to thank you as we think your correspondence may have played a big role in this, regardless we are very happy with the neatness and the tree we got.Initial Complaint

On 7/21/2021 I purchased a Kwanzan Cherry for $615.27 to be planted in the fall by the owner. Fall came and went, I didn't get my tree despite multiple calls, texts and visits to the nursery. When winter set in I resigned myself to plant in the Spring. Again, I had to make multiple calss and visits. When I requested a refulnd, I was told no refunds despite the fact than I never took delivery of the tree. ****** finally planted it in April. The trunk was wrapped in fabric that ****** said was there to keep the deer off. When I went to remove it I saw that the twine had seriously girdled the tree, when I removed the wrapping, I saw that the trunk was seriously damaged. Shortly thereafter the tree began to bloom anemically. The blooms were simple and white. Kwanan blooms are compound and deep pink. I asked to have the tree remove and replaced. ****** proceeded to dodge me until summer when it is too hot to plant or move a tree. I cared for the tree and it gradually improved. I resolved to wait until Spring to see if maybe the blooms had been anemic due to shock. Again it bloomed white. It is not a Kwanzan Cherry. After texting back and forth a few times, I sent a certified letter to the address on the receipt. It was returned because there is no mailbox on the property. I had to go to the ***** ******** ********* website to get a mailing address. I sent a letter, no response. I reached out again and he told me he had been in the hospital. Not the first time he played that card. Last week he said he would take care of it but nothing has happened. This has also happened to three other people in my neighborhood all at the same pricepoint.
