I brought my truck to ***** upon breaking down to fix an issue that the owner said he would be able to resolve. After a week in the shop, the owner called and said that the truck was ready for pickup. After test-driving it I saw that he had not in fact fixed the issue and informed him of this and he ensured me he would go back in again and fix the issue. After another week in the shop, I went back in a test drove the truck again and checked for myself to see that he still had not fixed the issue. I told the owner of J&H that I would pay for the parts that he purchased, but would not pay for labor as he had kept the truck for 2 weeks and still had not fixed this issue which has left me out of work. He refused to give back the keys to the truck without full payment and I was left with no other choice than to pay him. The photos and documents I have attached are receipts from both J&H and the new mechanic which I had to take the truck to, to properly get fixed. The new mechanic also informed me of what J&H had done wrong when fixing and they were able to return my truck to me within 3 days properly fixed and for less than J&H. The photos are from after picking up the truck showing that the issue below was still not fixed by J&H. On the J&H receipt, he had also charged me for false service to parts like the flywheel, which I had to buy myself which I also attached a receipt of. J&H was unable to provide receipts for the new parts he claimed to have bought.
