I moved here almost four years ago when Stepping Stones was well-managed. The property was sold to FCA management and appears to be going downhill. This began under the auspices of the management team brought on board to serve the residents. Their response to issues is never timely. They constantly say they are unable to do anything with the approval of the the board of FCA. They are not customer service oriented. Two of the managers do not acknowledge when you enter the office. Emails are not responded to and maintenance requests are not responded to. The company that owns the property is nickel and diming the residents. Our water company was changed and the billing procedures changed. This was not effectively communicated to the residents. As a result, unknown to me the water bill was added to my rent. without my knowledge. I thought is was a mistake and did not pay it. As a result, my water was turned off twice. When I first came I paid my rent, cable, and utility bills. Added to that this year are fees for water, garbage, liability, and pest management. My rent has increased from $1650 to $2250. I moved here because I love my house, but am hoping that the management can change their attitudes towards there residents.

My Mother moved into the Bridgewater rental units less than two years ago and signed a lease for 1 year at $1625 a month. After 1st year the rent was raised $100 a month to 1725 a year. She just received letter stating that if she chooses to re lease the rent will now be $2,350.00 a month which is a 36.23% increase. Is this even legal? Hard to believe it could be.
