I was scheduled on 8/3/2024 with Lily B***** for a full highlight. After hours of being there, and only having the back of my head in foils from 9am-12pm, when the stylist pulled the foils she told me it had not done anything. During the 3 hours there the stylist left me with foils in the back of my hair with bleach which in the end would up damaging my hair and resulted in hair loss. I told the stylist to pull all the foils from my hair if it had not done much of anything because I was sitting with bleach on my hair for 3 hours. Lily then proceeded to tell me she was going to have to tone my hair back to the darker shade of my natural color so that all my hair would be even and one color. I told her I was not happy with that as I scheduled a full highlight for my hair to be lighter not darker when leaving the salon. During my consultation with her she ensured me she was a colorist and blonde specialist to then later after leaving the salon find out from the board of cosmetology she does not have a color cert. only a cosmetology license. She charged me $185 for a full highlight, i never even got that. I spoke to the salon manager who was extremely rude and had no empthay for the fact i sat there for 3 hours and my hair was falling out and so damaged, and i did not get what I had originally scheduled for which was a full highlight. I got the back of my head highlighted which did nothing and left the salon having to go to another salon to fix my whole head and put color on my hair and deep condition it which wound up costing me an additional $120 somewhere else. I feel as if since I did not get the full service of a full highlight and the highlights she did put in did nothing to my hair other than cause it to break off and damage my hair, I should not of had to pay for a full $185. The manager told me I had to, or she was going to call the police. This place was unprofessional and lied about having a new stylist there who was a blonding specialist, when she was not.
