BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!I Accompanied my husband to a hearing aid cleaning appointment today as the business had requested that I do. We were escorted to an office by the Certified Hearing Specialist... no name given. I am a retired Speech Language Pathologist with a minor in Audiology. Many of my neighbors and friends have come to me for guidance when it becomes their turn to purchase hearing aids.To that end, during the appointment, I began asking the Certified Hearing Specialistwho was also conducting the appointment some questions about what Hearing Life offered to me and my husband I asked the owner to differentiate what he offered versus what ****** offers. I asked how often it was necessary to get a new hearing aid, I asked how HL determined when new aids were required With each question the *** became more and more agitated, rude and verbally derogatory. At one point he stated that as a Speech language pathologist, I knew nothing about hearing aids. At that point I asked him to stop mansplaining to me. He became enraged and threw out many remarks about how hed never experienced rude and disrespectful people and threw us out of his As we were getting up to leave I bent over, covered my mouth and coughed. (I am 73 and have asthma.)He began yelling and raging that I had coughed in his face snd repeatedly said to my husband how sorry he was that my husband had to go home to someone like me!. This man has anger issues at the least snd due to his overaction to my questions , he may also running a fraud on the good people of ************** who need hearing aids. He is dangerous. Please advise as to how to proceed. Thank you.***********************
