my homewarranty co send mericle check my air unit he took my unit apart unplug it and left it tore apart and wire lose send my warranty co picture of someone unit and said it have never been sev and told me it could not be repair my. unit is sev 2 times ***** then he text me and said he could fix it for $4,000 i call my tec said motor was bad $1,800.00Business response

Our tech checked ***************** system so that he was able to properly diagnosis. He uploaded pics into the customers profile & called the office asking them to submit this claim to the home warranty for replacement of a blower motor. We submitted the required specifications for his equipment, along with photos from his indoor & outdoor AC unit. The diagnosis stated, "inspected system and found blower motor burned up". There was nothing else submitted to the home warranty about the condition of the equipment, or the cause of failure. We received a message from the home warranty company, stating "this claim will not be covered". After the claim was denied, we reached out to him letting him know his claim had been denied & answer any questions he may have, & what options he may take in moving forward. Our goal is to provide each customer with quality service & customer satisfaction as well as being able to resolve their issues. We wanted to give him the option for his system to be up and running. We sent 2 different options. Option #1 was for a total replacement of the **** system. Option #2 was for a blower motor replacement, condenser wash. blower wheel deep cleaning, drain line clean out, system vacuum, evaporator coil cleaning, and 8 pounds of freon. The denial came straight from the home warranty, they provide the information to the customer. Techs are required to ***********-10 photos at each customer's home, uploading them to each customer's profile. Home warranty requires us to submit photos with each diagnosis. Home warranty scans each picture that is submitted & photos are not a duplicate or picture that has been submitted in the past. Each picture must be new & match the data plate tags on the systems. The info ************* provided is inaccurate & this is an issue he needs to handle with his home. We do not feel as it is appropriate to refund the $75 co pay. This was the cost for us to send a tech to the home & diagnose the failure of his system

Mericle mechanical replaced the hvac unit in my condo in April of 2023. The unit was covered by a home warranty that I pay for monthly. The unit that was sent was the incorrect unit for my condo but was still installed by Mericle mechanical. The unit had to be turned sideways to fit into the closet leaving zero accessibility to the excess panel. There have been multiple calls to Mericle mechanical to get the problems resolved and it has been one excuse after the other. The vent is not properly sealed and there is air leaking all around the air handler . We have had multiple appointments for them to come address this one situation and have had either a no call / no show or just canceled the appointment. I finally talked to the owner today after having to call from a different phone number because they were avoiding my calls . **** refused to come up with a plan to resolve this issue telling me that if I wanted the issue fixed I would have to pay for a new unit to be installed. After further homework , Mericle mechanical did the work without pulling the required permits and having a final inspection which is required by **************.Customer response
