We received a quotation to have our home painted both inside and out. After several delayed Demetrius did get out to our home to paint the exterior. At the initial completion we paid Demetrius the entire balance with him promising to return to our home to finalize all touch ups. We are now 3 months beyond the finalized date and Demetrius at best has been deficient with his communications. Needless to say we encountered countless delays as it pertains to the interior painting. We proceeded to cancel the interior painting and being and was generous in allowing Demetrius to keep a portion of the deposit that didn’t equate to the work he committed to. As we have made several phone calls and sent many more text messages, Demetrius has not responded or have completed the work.Initial Complaint

My boyfriend and I reached out to Demetrius S***** at Mighty Hands LLC to have a fence built. On may 30th, He quoted us a priced to have a 4x4 fence built at $4500. We sent him $3500 for materials prior to our HOA approval. A month later (Jun 28th) we got approved by our HOA to have the fence built had a few jobs ahead of us and would let us know when he could start. During that time, our neighbor had their fence put which led to revisions on our end as we need to "tie-into" theirs. We were able to reach out and have Demetrius come back out on August 7th to readjust our quote and to measure as we would need bigger posts but less 2x4 since we were tying into the neighbors fence. During that time he said that the bigger posts would drive up cost by $200. Us being skeptical about that with some of the 2x4 needing to be returned we were hesitant in sending the money. On August 17th we then ask for all of the materials to be returned to the store and we would concede $100 for the 2 trips for measurements. He then says "I can't.... We good to start Monday". During mid to august, we experienced a lot of rainy days and instead of keeping us informed around the weather for him being able to start, no communication was given to us. We then reach out on Aug 26th and he said that he would be able to start on the 28th at 10 am. The 28th was a clear day and no communication was given to us. On the 29th we reached out that morning and he said he was on the way when the rain stopped, and he did not come at all that day. We both agreed that it would be easier if he could put the fence up by Oct.2nd. He agreed but presumably that was halted due to hurricane Ian. We reached out on Oct. 3 for an update on when to start and he responds on the 4th saying his home was flooded and that he would let us know when he could start. We then reach out again on Oct. 15th and have not heard back. It is now October 19 and we have not seen our money, materials or a receipt. We just want our money.
