A-1 delivered a Yale forklift but was not received in a timely manner and when it was delivered it would not run so was immediately returned and a different forklift was brought back. That forklift also didn't work and it was returned again. After weeks with no forklift we were required to rent a different forklift from someone else in order to complete our job. However A-1 for another attempt brought another forklift which had serious problems and was not capable of carrying units of plywood up a ramp. Finally they came and got the last fork lift and had to be loaded with a wrecker because it wouldn't run. Now they are suing our company for unpaid lease fees when we didn't even have a working forklift and they had taken them back for repairs that never actually happened. We shouldn't have to pay for a forklift we never had and none of them would work. Yet they are trying to sue us for 11,000 dollars.Business response

A-1 forklofts is not suing anyone. The customer would not pay his lease with the lease company. He has been thru bankruptsy a couple times.Customer response

We are rejecting this response because we were never given an operational forklift to even be leasing. Which we also have all the correspondence regarding that situation and how the machine never worked.
Giving false information just shows you how inaccurate they are. At no time did A-1 forklift inform the leasing company of their negligence in providing an operational piece of equipment to lease.
