I bought two boxes of peaches from The Fruit Truck in Bloomington, MN on Saturday, July 20, 2024 for $90. Both boxes contained mealy, rotten peaches. I immediately contacted the Fruit Truck via their email address as directed in the FAQs on their Web site. I have sent two follow-up emails since, but I have not received a response.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: the business had several opportunities to follow up with me before I filed the dispute with Venmo. They could still make this right, but they are choosing not to.

      Sincerely,

We reject your response due to the fact you disputed through venmo. Do you expect a refund and a store credit? That's double dipping. We are not able to help you at this time.

On June 10,2024 I bought 2 boxes of Georgia peaches from The Fruit Truck, in Longmont Colorado at the ***** ***** parking lot. on June 14, 2024 i sent them a message that the fruit had rotted,i had followed directions on putting them on a table and not bothering them for 24-48 hrs. I sent pictures.i was told to allow up to 30 days for comment that they are busy. As requested i sent an email with pictures of fruit, 2 box's they came in and what happened to *********************. I have since sent them several emails and posted on their facebook page that i had spent $90.00 on fruit asying they are busy, August 17, still busy, I think i posted on facebook at least 10 times with nothing. Very plainly on their message it says "no refund for perishable fruit" i sent them pictures within 3 days of buying them, no receipt they grabbed my money -that was it. I wonder how many other people get rotten fruit but don't do anything. At this point i want my money back, i only had the fruit a few days an it rotted from the pit to the outside. It must have been frozen or the boxes dropped. I don't care what they say about a refund- it wasn't 2 week, 10 days but 3 days! Totally being ignored for 4 months is terrible. Plus I really wanted to can peaches for the winter. The pictures show the fruit looked nice on the outside, but once opened is was rotten as heck inside, so i'm not sure what happened, but they didn't get bruised by me.

In June, I purchased peaches/cherries that were awesome! Pecans that I froze as I have had not need for them yet. The blackberries were very disappointing. Either moldy or mushed. I have sent 3 emails with no acknowledgement. Even saying we got your email will review will get back to you. Some acknowledgment would been better then none. I did comment on FB. It was deleted. They responded with message in messenger, however I tried to resend a response. But it wouldn’t go through. Saying couldn’t send. My total order was 140.00, I think black berries were 40? I understand they are not in control 100 %, but even grocery stores offer a comp exchange credit or something. I did throw honestly almost half away, either they were moldy, attached to a moldy one or were smashed. I have referred others to purchase cherries and peaches just not the blackberries. I will purchase hardy fruits from them, just not delicate ones.

We received 2 emails. July 3 and July 5. We replied to her today after checking with the store about this. We don't have an ****** who works for us. We don't give refunds on perishable fruit. The store usually replaces fruit in cases like this. She needs to send more information before we can assist her.

Hello - I bought peaches on 7/26/2023 from the location in Anoka. The cost was $60.00. When I got the peaches home they looked damaged. I sent an email to the Truck on 7/26 showing the ones that I had to throw away immediately. I requested a refund or an exchange. I tried to save the others, but they were all bad (moldy or mushy). I sent a follow-up email on 8/7/2023 and 8/17/2023, but I did not receive a response back. I also tried to reach them on their facebook site. Insteading of responding to the post, it was deleted. I have bought fruit from The Fruit Truck for years, because it is normally good. I'm very disappointed that there doesn't appear to be any customer service. $60.00 for a crate of peaches is a luxury for my family, which I am happy to pay, but not when every peach was bad.
